This harness works well for a 12-14 pound Japanese Chin with fairly large shoulders for a little guy. He is so comfortable in this harness that he seems to forget that he's wearing it. This is my second harness, not because other one broke, it’s still useable, I just wanted a different color. It’s the best fitting harness for my 13 lb terrier. She was able to back out of other ones, this one fits snug, with adjustable Velcro closure, and on top of that a hard plastic buckle and 2 metal d-rings to clip leash onto. Harness fits snug around front legs, without obstructing movement, and snug around chest and gives enough free movement around neck. Im impressed with the material, well stitched. I have thrown it in washing machine, line tried. Came out clean, no color bleeding. The harness is perfect. The leash is very sturdy, with build up padding at handle loop. Nice reflective stitching. I would have preferred a smaller clip, it seems too heavy for my 13 lb dog. In past I used cat leashes, prefer the smaller. So the lesser star is for it being too solid! And would have been nice if they offered a smaller size for small dogs. This clip seems for medium size dogs. ... show more

I received the medium sized harness oddly it was the exact same size as the small one I was very disappointed However the quality of the product is very good. But I will not purchase any more
