I bought these for the sole purpose of having a comfortable boot to walk around in and primarily to have while riding my motorcycle. My other boots were very clunky and stuck out after the ride. These exceeded my expectations and were lighter than I expected! I do use custom inserts, so I can’t speak much on how the boots feel in that aspect - but I do have a bit of a wider foot and I sized up to accommodate that. This boot fit well, and has broken in quite nicely! I would recommend this boot as a casual wear or work boot. I’ve been wearing it in warm 90 degree weather and my feet haven’t been overheating or anything like that. I love the color, and feel like these are a great value for their price!

NOT A HIKING BOOT These boots aren’t adequate for hiking but for a casual dress shoe they’re great. Super comfortable and warm, they look great as well. Laces were easy to tie out of the box and I’ve worn them for one week daily they don’t seem to have an issues yet. They’re not very breathable which is good for colder weather. Removed a star because I’m not sure why they’re advertised as a hiking boot. The insole doesn’t support it and I don’t think its build is sturdy enough for real hiking. Since I got these for dress anyways it’s no big deal but it could misguide other buyers especially not seasoned hikers.

Needed a quick boot for a trip to Colorado- wore them around the house for an hour decided to keep them... First thing we did was a 5mile hike in fresh snow RMNP- did not get wet at all! Comfortable (enough) for a hike and stylish enough for work. Can see some wear on the fake leather uppers already but hey. Definite bang for the buck. Will snag another pair to stash in the closet.

the left boot arrived fitting perfectly. the right boot had extra material sewn along the back ankle section of boot that would irritate and eventually become very painful throughout the day. Wearing double pairs of wool socks wasn't enough. Sucks because the boots are stylish and comfortable. at least where the right boot is concerned.

Quality item that's worth every penny. They look great and they're quite comfortable. The cushion in the shoes got a little worn after a few months, but the east fix was to purchase an extra in-sole for the extra comfort.

When I first laid eyes on the Vostey Men’s Hiking Boots, I was immediately captivated by their rugged aesthetic. The robust design, emphasized by the waterproof feature and the unique pattern on the sole, looked like it promised an adventure. But as we all know, appearances can be deceptive. To give you a more comprehensive view, my relationship with these boots is complicated. For someone who’s an avid hiker, my expectations for performance, comfort, and durability are set fairly high. While the boots performed reasonably well in some aspects, they did leave room for improvement in others, making them a mixed bag. 🥾 Aesthetic Appeal: Looks to Impress but Not to Last The Vostey hiking boots are undoubtedly stylish. The first time you put them on, you’ll feel ready to conquer not just mountains but even casual social outings. However, the aesthetic quality comes with a caveat: durability. After a few hikes, the material started to show signs of wear, and the color began to fade slightly. For boots designed for the rough terrains, this is somewhat disappointing. 🌧️ Waterproofing: More Like Water-Resistant One of the main features that drew me to these boots was the promise of waterproofing. While they did keep my feet dry in light rain, they were not able to hold up under more severe wet conditions. However, if you’re on a budget and looking for something to get you through less demanding terrains, these boots can be a consideration. 🤔 Final Thoughts and Summary In conclusion, the Vostey Men’s Hiking Boots are a mixed bag. They do offer a level of style, basic waterproofing, and initial comfort. However, they lack in areas of long-term durability and sustained comfort on more challenging terrains. These boots are not your go-to for intensive hiking expeditions but could serve you well for short hikes and casual wear. My experience was neither overwhelmingly positive nor entirely negative, landing these boots a solid 3-star rating.
