The instructions were written so poorly that I may not have done the procedure 100% correctly. Every sentence had bad grammar and mixed and contradictory terminology. How hard would be to find a native English speaker to write the short instructions? The kit improved a 1/8" chip but did not make it disappear, just smaller. I think if I understood the procedure better it might have done the job.

I appreciated that it was a comprehensive kit, allowing me to attempt the repair. However, the quality of the materials is lacking, and the screwing/pressure devices slip threads when pressure is applied. Will see if the repair last.

First, once you attach the suction cups to the windshield, the threaded portion of the plunger will not even reach the threads. I cut part of the non-threaded portion off and made it work. Adding 3 to 4 drops of resin was difficult because the windshield is slanted and you can't see the drops go in the center. Then putting the pressure plunger inside the other portion was supposed to force the resin into the chip area. After several attempts the chip still was visible and barely repaired. We are talking a 1/4 inch chip. Adding a drop and then putting the clear cover back on was a joke. It just smeared the resin and still see the chip. Instructions are horrible and almost useless. The is the worst product I have ever purchase from Amazon.

I appreciate the extra resin. The tension piece kinda works, the resin kinda goes where you want. But this is the same as 3 other types I have tried, at best it gets some resin into the crack. There is no silver bullet to windshield chips.

Followed manufacturers' instructions and the crack expanded. Also, the threading on the cylinder is too high and required more space to thread than there is between the windshield and the suction cup bracket.

I usually don’t write bad reviews, but this was junk. The suction device worked okay, but the plastic threads wouldn’t apply any pressure without jumping the threads
