This baby is comforting and realistic to hold. She’s not a convincing reborn as far as paint goes, but she’s precious and loveable and flexible and soft and squishy. She’s a quiet cuddly alternative to holding a real baby. Her seams are visible but they don’t distract from her baby like qualities. She has a little imprint by her bellybutton similar to another reviewer, it was from the button on her outfit she arrived in. She fits newborn outfits and diapers. I put her in pampers swaddlers for the baby scent, though I think we will switch her to cloth diapers, and we powder her to de-sticky her silicone and give her more baby smells. She’s mine, but my girls can’t get enough of her. I recommend her to people who are looking at reborns for comfort, and little girls can’t get enough of her “realness.” ... show more

I was hesitant to pay so much for a doll. I was worried that it would look like blank unpainted silicone. I was so very surprised that this doll is amazing! I would never be able to afford a artist done silicone so this was a compromise and I am very happy with my purchase. She looks so real. The outfit she came in left fuzz all over her body so I cleaned her with a soft cloth and water then when she was dry I powdered her with baby powder which will help keep the fuzz off. My niece wants a full silicone (squishy and bendable) but those suckers cost a lot of money! I tried an alternative - this doll can be easily enhanced (simple doll wig or, even try rooting hair which is simple a la Youtube instructional videos), rooting eyelashes are even simpler. But, also works as a baldy newborn. well weighted, fits 0-3 month baby clothes (thrift stores can provide cheap wardrobes - sorry Amazon; I'm transparent.) Not recommended for younger than 5 years old, due to the can-be-fragile nature (fingers specifically) of silicone. ... show more

I like this doll a lot, the silicon is squishy, the color is good for me,also the size and weight, it fits new borns clothes, it looks very peaceful asleep. It has to be powder because it get sticky, but I like him anyway.

So soft and realistic with only a few minor imperfections with "seams" and "pouring holes". Paint is also imperfect, and it will fade over time but it's still a great doll considering the price. I've actually had them for a few weeks now and the silicone seems a little softer than before. JOHNSON'S BABY POWDER IS A MUST! Limit baths! And for the kids who like to sleep with their dolls, I recommend swaddling the baby first to avoid any possible damage while your child sleeps...also if you decide to modify the mouth (to where it can take a premature size pacifier) I recommend using an X-Acto knife and watching a few "how to" YouTube videos FIRST (... AND PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME!). 0-3 month clothing for the 22in and prem 1 for the 14in. Size 1 infant shoe for the 22 in doll. I ❤️ them! Update: new pictures of hair rooting. I'M STILL VERY NEW AT IT...but I used a regular pack of synthetic hair from a beauty supply store. (tight spiral curl that was pre-cut *about an inch* before Rooting. Then trimmed again after completion) ... Next I will be painting all of my babies a light brown complexion😉. TBC... Update: first time EVER painting ANY TYPE of doll, and I think I did awesome 😎. Hair is rooted... And I also added armatures to the 17in baby. I'm so incredibly proud of myself 😊. However, I will say if you don't have a creative bone in your body.. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PAINT! It is not that easy to paint silicone dolls, and it is very time consuming. 👉🏾And adding armatures almost took me out🤦🏽♀️so...NEWBIES BEWARE☝🏾 ... show more

Negatives: -All of the seams are very noticeable. -There isn't just one mark on the top of her head but several. She'll need to be rooted. -Some spots are very red and others are overly matted. Positives: -good weight -very squishy and floppy -fits newborn clothes, diapers and shoes -cute and feels very realistic For around $300 I would have expected slightly better quality but overall Iam happy with her. ... show more
