I decided to write a review, because I am looking for more of the same lights. Three years ago, I bought these lights and they still work great. There have been many days that I have not turned them off. And all four lights still work. They have survived the elements and my house looks great when I change the colors with the season or holiday.

I did waste several hours trying to get these lights to work properly. I also contacted tech support and conversed with them for several days. They were very nice and helped me out. The lights never did function properly. They just remained green. I could not use them for anything else. The company sent me a new batch of Lights since the first ones were apparently defective. As it turns out the new ones they sent worked for a little while inside my house. By a little while I mean I used them to go through all of the functions a couple of times. I found out after working with them for a while that they do not work well at all hooked up to any sort of extension cord. They have to be directly plugged into an outlet. I tested them outside with an outdoor outlet and they worked good. So I unwrapped the cords and plugged them directly into the outlet and spaced them the way I wanted and turned them on. Alas, again, they did not work properly. Three of the four lights worked but I had no control over them with the remote. Actually I had a little bit of control, one light would function with the commands I keyed into the remote. One light never came on and still won't come on. When I use the remote to turn the lights off one light went off. Two lights stayed on. And the one light that never came on stayed off. I would highly recommend not buying these lights unless just enjoy frustration and wasting a lot of your time. ( this app forced me to choose at least one star. If it were possible I would choose zero stars for these lights.)

The media could not be loaded. I serve on an HOA board at a condo building with a modest landscaped area in front. We were quoted between $2,700 and $4,300 by 3 commercial lighting companies that wanted to put in 300-600 watt transformers and older-style lights with plastic lenses to change the color. I believe the result would have been less elegant because too much light looks stark and contributes to light pollution. A 6-string of these lights was just right to highlight our plants and rocks. These aren't good for lighting trees. You really need a lot of lumens to light a tree from the ground. I don't think that looks good anyway. Let the trees be lit in daylight. Better to have a subtle scene at night. The remote works well and is intuitive, per attached video I made to describe how to use it to our board members. The fixtures themselves are metal and feel substantial. We were happy that these work with our external photocell that already controls other lights. We didn't want a photocell or timer built into the lights. The lights return to the last setting when the power is turned off and on by the photocell. The lights started flashing on and off (together) after 2 years and 3 months. My best guess is the transformer/driver failed. We kept it in a water-resistant electrical box, so I don't think it was water intrusion. However, it tended to get warm, potentially limiting its life. Or possibly one of the low voltage wires was partially shorted by landscaping activity. Anything that sits out in the elements like this isn't going to last forever. I will ask the seller if this is covered under warranty. But frankly we'll be happy to pay another $80 to replace them since an average cost of about $3 / day is very good.

Over & above my expectations. The colors can change & flash/strobe. They seem heavy in a good way. They are easy to install & I put them out one night on a whim. It took me all of 20 minutes. They are great for a festive look without a hefty price tag & they would be easy for someone to instal if they can’t safely Christmas lights up. Can’t wait to use for Halloween next year. These would work well for regular (white)outdoor house lights too.

These spotlights beautifully and festively highlighted the front of my house for about 20 months and then died. I exchanged some friendly Amazon messages with Volisun and they sent me a replacement power supply in about a week. That worked well for a few days, but then some of the purple LEDs became pink before the set died again. Reached back out to Volisun and they sent a completely new set of lights in two days with no fuss. The new lights work perfectly and I appreciate Volisun for standing behind their product. I agree with other reviewers that the shades of white aren't the soft warm white I wanted, but the colors are fantastic.

While we initially fell in love with our purchase, they unfortunately as mentioned in other reviews stopped working. The colors are gorgeous and easily adjust for each given occasion. They are bright and beautiful. When they work. I have attempted to communicate this with the seller. However my attempts have not made any progress in resolving this. We did receive a great deal when initially purchased. And the price has currently gone up for them. They come with a savvy remote control, and the quality of the product is very durable. A hard plastic material.
