I really loved this hat from Volcom even though the color was a little different from what I received. I was disappointed I didn't get the color I thought I was going to get, which was more of a maroon color, but I kept the hat because I still liked the red color I received. A few things to point out: 1. The bill of the hat is hard and flat. I like my hats with a curve. 2. I used a hat curver to curve the front of the hat. I stretched out the elastic bands so they can go underneath and beyond the attachment hook to provide for a nicer curve that will stay that way. People have various ways to curve hats, I prefer this way because the curve tends to come out nice and even and it keeps its shape. 3. The hat fits great. Not too loose and not too tight. When I wear sunglasses I wear the temples (arms) over the hat because it's too snug to wear them on the inside of the hat. That's perfect for me because otherwise that would mean the hat is too big. By the way, I'm size 7 3/8 when it comes to wearing baseball hats so I always get the L/XL flexfit hats. I get Varying results with those things because sometimes they're too tight or they're too big. This hat is perfect. I hope the pictures I've added help. It shows the actual color of the hat, the curve I've given it and the overall look of what you can expect. This was such a great hat I ordered 2 of them, that's why you see the sticker on the brim. My first one still has some use left, but it's almost time to swap it out for the new one. Overall, another quality hat from Volcom that I think you're going to be very happy with. ... show more

This hat looks better on my head them DC or hurley. It's form fitting and doesn't bunch up. It's the perfect amount of depth too.
