This plane is amazing, it flies great and has nice speed. The gyroscope on it is something to mention. it comes with three modes: Beginner, Midd, and Expert. When on Beginner the plane uses the inbuilt X-pilot gyroscope to stabilize itself. then in midd and Expert the gyro is less then not used at all, making it more difficult to fly. These modes are controlled through a switch on the top of the transmitter. then there is the prop saver which is both sweet and sour. the sweet being that the prop isn't absolutely destroyed every time it hits something and the sour being that when it does hit something, the prop pops off to save itself and might be lost. So a piece of advice, when your plane goes down, always try to find the prop first. the plane is easy to see but the whereabouts of the prop will be lost to the unknown before you remember to look for it and then forget where you saw it land. Through and through this is an amazing, SUPER durable easy plane to fly for beginners. I had and am having tons of fun with it at a nearby church field and so am giving it 5 stars.

This is the first RC plane I've ever owned and it is SO MUCH FUN!!!! There are 3 modes: Beginner (pull upper-right side switch towards you), Intermediate, and Advanced (push upper-right side switch away from you). Beginner mode makes jumping into this hobby a breeze. The stability control system keeps the plane steady and makes it extremely user friendly for ALL! I found myself in intermediate mode after 20 minutes in beginner. After another 2 hours and a couple crashes I am now operating in Advanced mode which is challenging. The stability system in this mode is turned off and so the flight controls are very responsive, making the plane incredibly acrobatic. This plane can take a beating! I've nosed dived into the ground, crashed into a tree, landed it in a swamp, and it's still going like new. Although I've had to reinforced parts of it with super glue and duct tape. It is so light and glides so well that the flight time between both batteries will easily last 45 minutes. And it charges in less than an hour! I can't recommend this enough. Right out of the box you'll be flying this thing in a matter of minutes. UPDATE (7/25/20) Just nosed dived into the sandy part of a baseball field and the nose snapped right off but all the flight controls and throttle are still operable! I’ve been repairing the aircraft with epoxy resin and have experienced no degradation in flight performance. MUST HAVE!!!!

Well balanced plane that's floaty but not slow enough that it can take even some pretty fast winds. The battery being universal with its white plug in meant I could swap from the 150 to 600 3.7 MAH battery and with little adjustments to the airframe, I was able to get 30 - 35 mins flight time. Super easy to fly in safe mode and difficult enough for experienced pilots to control the aircraft without the safe but can pull off really cool stunts! Well worth the money for what it's worth but my only complaint is the very flimsy landing gear which makes it really hard to take off from ground and it bends easily enough that it will nose over on landing if you're not smooth enough on landing.

My Dad flew this twice and ran through the batteries it came with pretty quick. Then after charging the batteries he tried to fly it again an the plane would not turn on. He thought the batteries were bad so it was winter then spring weather not cooperative to fly until now so we bought new batteries the plane still will not turn on. The plane is a solid body, no way to look at internal area to see if it is even fixable. I am not happy with this purchase & sad for my Dad.

This is a phenomenal little airplane for the price range. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot, but I was pleasantly surprised. This plane actually taught me how to fly RC planes. I crashed the first one I had learning, so I ordered a second one. Now that I've learned I've graduated to 4-channel, but I love having this plane to use to get friends into the hobby. I think the best way to learn how to fly these planes is to start on an inexpensive 3-channel and work your way up. This plane is also incredibly durable. I glued it back together many times and it always flew. It finally quit in a really hard nose crash on pavement. Totally my fault and I don't fault the plane. That thing took a really bad beating. Overall I would say if you want to get to RC planes and gliders then start with this little Sportcub.

This little plane is amazing for the price. 10 years ago this would have been crazy expensive, and this tech wasn't mature enough to be viable....they had tiny RC planes, but they were difficult to fly for your average pilot. The beginner mode and intermediate mode work very well and make flying this little plane a breeze. Any one who knows the basics of flying can fly in beginning mode. I flew it on expert for a little bit, to do some aerobatics, I don't recommend it unless you are VERY experienced. It was really squirrely in expert mode and can get out of hand in hurry, and the wind even a little bit can really mess you up. I have only flown this plane 3 times, once in my front yard, twice in my alley behind my house using the dirt road as a run way. It needs to have a smooth runway or it will nose over. The wheels are very small. I took it off in a track I made with my truck tire and that worked fine, but I wasn't precise enough to land it in the track for both flights back there and it nosed over on the landing from the bumpy road, it landed fine on the black top on the street in front of my house. The good news is NO Damage. I also dropped it from shoulder height while removing the battery, also no damage. The flight times are very long, I didn't notice any decrease in power before I landed and was up each time for several minutes, I didn't time it but it felt like I was flying for a while. Half throttle is more than enough power for normal flying, it still gains altitude even slightly below half throttle. To sum it all up, I highly recommend this plane to any one who knows the basics of flying RC.
