My first plane was the 600mm version. Super fun, wanted an upgrade. Flies awesome, beginner friendly, took a beating from several crashes, still flies perfect. Replacement parts are difficult to find, but 10/10 will buy again.

The nifty wing clips (in the fuselage) are so convenient, except that they are the weakest part of the plane and break easily. Mine broke on the first flight with a not so hard landing. Ordered replacements - from Banggood at only $16 for a set of two including the unbroken part in the wing. Need a more reliable part or different kind of retainer, somehow. Or they could just pack a dozen or two of the very fragile part with the plane. Screws up an otherwise nice plane.

Good looking plane. I live at 6000 ft altitude. Dying it stock on an 11.1v 20c barely keeps it off the ground at full throttle even with no fpv or camera. Will look to see if it can handle a 14.8v 50c. If not, I will replace the motor and esc.

I bought this glider to learn to fly fpv, and it has been very good. It is a real value, flies well and is well made. The fuselage is made of durable plastic and the wings are carbon fiber reinforced foam. It is easynto fly and went together easily. If something happens to this one I will definitely order another one.

Good beginner airplane. Durable and easy to fly. The only shortcoming was the battery hatch needed a more secure fastening. I made a small post on either side of the canopy and secured that canopy with a rubber band.

Motor at high speeds would cut out and not run properly. Wing clips very iffy. Mine would not stay clipped. Comes with large tires for grass takeoffs, but would not taxi on fresh mown landing strip. Did not get a chance to fly it as had too many problems.

The Volantex 2000 mm is an easy flying stable glider. My inital/maiden flight was unassisted by a flight controller, just using a FrSky Rx with pwm and an altitude varometer sensor. I also flew it FPV because my eyesight ain't what it used to be. I really like the blown plastic fusilage. Before I flew it, I covered the leading edges of the foam wings with reinforced pacling tape; from experience, I think this is the best practice and do it with all my planes. This plane is BIG. If there is a downside to it, it is going to be transporting it. It disassembles, but I don't like fiddling with servo plugs at the field. It has adequate room for a small F4 or F7 flight controller, but expect to take a day installing it neatly and you certainly won't want to disassemble it to transport. This plane would not be bad for a beginner, but a slightly smaller plane (like the Volantex 1600) might be a better choice to start with ... the longer wings on the 2000 might prove difficult for a beginner to land without digging a wing into the grass.
