  • Good flying little plane, but not a kid’s toy
Edition: F4U Corsair 4CH
Really impressed by how the plane flies and the ease of operation, especially in the beginner mode. It’s a great little park flier. The lost plane feature (where it beeps until it restores connection with the transmitter) is great. It’s remarkably durable, considering how lightweight it is (easily less than half a pound). The light weight means it can really only fly in no to very, very little wind. Any more than that and the plane has a tough time and is either crashing or ending up in a tree. It’s not a high performance RC plane by any stretch of the imagination, but I was very impressed with the operation and quality of the build for the price. I’ll likely order another model from the same company soon. ... show more

  • Fascinating and fun trip into yesteryear.
Edition: T28 Trojan
I flew RC with my father-in-law 50 years ago and have some scares to prove it. These are a whole new world. RTF, simple, fun and cheap...did I mention that they are inexpensive? Less than 1/50th the cost per minute of what it was in corrected dollars. Follow the setup instructions, no frequency tags, 6-axis gyro stability, combined 30 minutes of flight time, scale looks and watchers by others in the local park. Son got me one (P51) for 74th b-bay and flew mine so I got him this one (T28). He is virtual game savvy and took to it effortlessly flying circles around old grampa . I’ve read the reviews and frankly you can blow off the negatives. He/they probably had the skill level switch set backwards which is my only complaint. It is not intuitive but if you read the instructions, you realize it is backwards from the arrows on the transmitter. If it is a real problem, return it to Amazon or wherever you bought it. A heads up. The P51 came with the prop on the plane and a spare. The T28 came with 2 spares + 1. The props can and will break. They did 50 years ago. So, buy the plane and buy the package of 4 spare props (Amazon should offer it as an option). But hey? What do I know? I’m just an old guy who likes to have some pretty cheap fun and this did it for me. ... show more

  • It’s so great that my husband has 34 of them in the basement
Edition: T28 Trojan
The ZHIKE RC Airplane is a fantastic gift for anyone interested in remote control planes, especially for beginners and hobbyists alike! This 4-channel plane, designed with a built-in gyro, is remarkably stable and easy to fly—even for those new to RC flying. My husband found it super engaging and loved how smoothly it handled in the air, with responsive controls that make it easy to perform tricks and navigate. It’s durable enough to withstand some bumps, so it’s perfect for outdoor fun without too much worry. It’s so great that my husband has 34 of them in the basement—just for him! No kidding! If you’re looking for an entertaining and exciting way to spend time outdoors, I highly recommend this plane for both adults and kids! ... show more

  • LOL well that was fun
I'm sure there's plenty of folks who posted on here after they ruined the thing, but man. 'Easy to fly'? STRONGLY Disagree. I charged the batteries, read the guide, installed gear, battery, trimmed aileron, rudder, elevator, took it outside, got setup with 100 yards of open space ahead and plenty of room to climb up those trees over yonder... Turned on XPilot beginner, got the throttle up, hand launched it like the guy in the video, and it banked right and hit the ground full speed, in less than 1 second. FLEW STRAIGHT DOWN as soon as it left my hand. OK there goes one propeller. Still running so thats good. Replaced propeller, checked controller, retrimmed it flat. Throttled up, launched it maybe 20 degrees up hoping to have a second to get the controls in my hand, NOPE. It rolled over left, nosed to the ground and went straight in hard, in maybe 1.5 seconds. Another propeller gone, right gear broke off. Ok took both other landing gear off so it wouldnt be offset drag. Put on the last propeller. checked the trim. Went to start the throttle. Nothing. Tried manuevering, nothing. Pulled the battery and checked the cable, fine. No power. Thing is dead already. I actually never even got the controller in my hand before it was in the dirt, and it only did that twice before it died. AWESOME. XPilot is a nice idea but WOW was this a COMPLETE AND TOTAL waste of my money. Thing never flew more than 1.5 seconds and never got 5 feet from me before making a beeline into the ground, with XPilot beginner on. It couldn't fly straight, even when I am launching it straight ahead. My average paper plane flight is 10x longer than this thing could stay in the air. VERY disappointed. ... show more

  • Nice airplane,
Really great and fun airplane. Maneuvers well. The only complaint I have is the landing gear fell off easily. I used tape to keep it on, forgot to check the tape before flying it and one came off in flight. So now I’m down a wheel. Other than that it’s a great purchase.

  • Hours of fun
Edition: F4U Corsair 4CH
My 10 year old grandson absolutely loves this plane. It is holding up well. In less than a day of flying, his dad sent us a video of him flying loops. His laughter is a testament to how much fun he has had flying this plane!
