I'm on day 5 of a double nose piercing. I had one pierced years ago and it went beautiful. Not a hitch or infection. This time around though I'm having a hard time. I caught a cold the day after piercing day, and the studs were stainless I think. I lost them both in my sleep so I scrounged through all my old jewelry and found some cheap ones to keep the hole open. Those have gotten yanked out like 4 times. My nose wasn't happy about the cheap metals so now my eczema is angry around my nose. These arrived the next day thankfully. They do have prongs though so get caught on EVERYTHING especially when cleaning. I've ordered some smoother ones because now my nose is bleeding from all the bumping. I'll save these for when my nose is healed, and I can't wait to pop in those d rings! These are definitely gorgeous though and look amazing in my nose. I took away a star just because of the prongs. Not perfect for a new piercing and most likely my fault for not noticing in the pictures. I was rushing trying to save my fresh piercing. I could put the hoops in, but I'm afraid of continuing to mess with them and hoops are not recommended on new piercings. ... show more

Larger than I expected. I tried to bend it to make a smaller hoop but this bad boy is durable. I will say it’s good quality BUT it’s a hoop and would NOT stay in at all. I kept losing it when I went to sleep and finding it in the sheets days later. Not practical

EDIT: 3 months later! I've changed it about 3 times to use the other colors, and it's still perfect. :D I got my nose pierced and was really, really wanting to change my stud to hoop as soon as I could. I did NOT want to wait half a year to do so. It had only been 3 weeks, but since I had taken good care of it and it seemed to be healing beautifully, I went back and forth on whether to wait, or do it and risk an irritation bump and possibly infection. :( I decided to wait. But then I came across these! From researching (aka googling all night), I believed these would be better and pose a much lower risk for infection or irritation because it's basically a stud. I ordered them for when "the time was right" to change it out. When they arrived, I just couldn't help myself. I was only 23 days into my piercing but I decided to change my stud to this D hoop. (I know, everyone says it's a huge no-no.) But if you're like me and looking for a success story, this is it! I've had it in a little over a week now and I LOVE it. I have had zero issues with it. I was worried about putting it in, since it goes in from the inside of your nose. I just used my current stud as a guide and it was in easily! It bled a tiny bit, but did not get irritated. It's so much more comfortable than the stud I had in because it's not as long and doesn't poke the inside of my nostril. Also, it sits flush against my nose, so no snagging on towels, shirts, pillowcases, etc! It's easier to wash my face, apply makeup, remove makeup, etc. It stays in place. It moves even less than a stud does. I will wear this for a very, very long time. I will say that I wish it was just a tad smaller. The 8mm is what I have in. The 10mm looks huge to me. I think a 7mm would have been just right. ... show more

Love love love! It doesn't snag, it doesn't fall out, and it is only slightly difficult to put in. I recommend 10/10. I finally have a nose ring that is no hassle and looks good.

I haven't been able to wear normal hoops because they have been too hard for me to get in and out. Also, a normal hoop's curvature irritated my nose all the time (kept getting bumps unless I was wearing only my stud). This led me to think why don't they make hoops with a straight side for inside the nose? Well they do right here! These have been so easy to change out and have been the right size for my nose! I haven't had any irritation issues like b4 and even forget its in my nose (which didn't happen with other hoops for me). In other clicker hoops i usally went for 6-8mm 20g; the smallest of this pack fits just the same in my nose. Seriously try these they have been a life saver ... show more
