Pain in the ass to put in, but it didn’t deter me because my rook is a hard spot to get jewelry in. I’ve had a “surgical steel” piece in my ear for about a week and woke up feeling like my ear is going to fall off. My ear looks like it got sunburnt on the upper top half it is so dark pink, swollen, and warm to the touch. I immediately switched it out for a quality piece of jewelry and while it’s still hot, red, and swollen, the pain in my ear has subsided slightly after getting this out of my ear. I only purchased this a a temp replacement so I didn’t have to deal with my curved barbell while switching to the bioplast back and forth because I have an upcoming surgery. I horribly regret it. If I can save anyone else from the literal pain this jewelry caused, I will be happy. I might as well have burnt down a nickel and shoved that in my ear, I could have saved myself time, money, and misery. Please do not buy!
