I am a man who loves golf and I have been using the Swing Caddie SC300 for a few days now. I have to say, this device is amazing! It gives me instant feedback on every shot, such as swing speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, and carry distance. It also has a voice output feature, which announces the data after each shot. The device is very accurate and consistent, and it works well with all kinds of clubs. The battery life is also impressive, as it lasts for more than 10 hours on a single charge. The app is also very handy, as it syncs with the device via Bluetooth and shows me more detailed stats and graphs. I can also record my swings and see the data overlaid on the video. I can also compare my swings with different clubs and see how I improve over time. The Swing Caddie SC300 is a must-have for any golfer who wants to improve their game and have more fun. It is worth every penny!

After reading reviews on the sc300, I was hesitant to purchase the sc300i, but worry not the sc300i works great! I wanted to wait to make this review until after I had hit approx. 500 balls with it with various clubs. I am pleased that the new sensors work well, the unit registers almost every hit. Most times when it does not register a hit it is clearly a miss on my part and not the units fault, however it does occasionally not register a well struck ball. I have not tried using it indoors, I always hit outdoors into a net about 8 feet away from the tee. It is simple to use and changing club selection and loft with remote works great. I've read other reviews where the sc300 would not retain club loft and club selection but this is not the case with the sc300i. Accuracy is a little questionable as far as distance with my driver, but it does assume you hit the ball straight every time which is not my case. When I hit the sweetspot as opposed to a toe or heel hit it definitely registers an accurate distance, launch angle, swing speed, ball speed and the smash factor is higher. I like that I get instant feedback on how a well struck ball feels as opposed to a toe or heel hit. I'm starting to get a "feel" for where I hit on the face which does help out on the course. I haven't used app as it doesn't interest me at this point, but maybe in the future I will give it a try. I have an adjustable driver and can change loft angles and see instant results in launch angle and distance which has helped me select the proper loft angle for my swing. The battery life is very good, the unit came fully charged and after 500 balls it has not needed to be charged yet. I like that it counts the hits registered for each session but I would like to see a total hits number as well, perhaps it's in the app? At 500 bucks it's an expensive purchase for the average golfer but I chose this over golf lessons and can see improvement in my confidence and my game. I still go to the range to work on aiming at the target but I have much better results than before I bought the sc300i!

I bought the SC 300i after trying my friends a few times. For the most part I get fairly consistent results (didn’t say hugely accurate), but I noticed it read just a little bit less on my numbers then a much more expensive Trackman. Let me elaborate. I went to a club fitting last month on a Trackman and was getting numbers at about 104-106 mph for my driver club head speed. I had set up my SC300i at the same time and was consistently getting about 98-99 mph on the same strikes so I guess it was reading my swing slower by about 6-7 mph. For my seven iron fitting., Trackman had me btwn 86-88 mph and SC300i was about 84-85 so I think it was a little more accurate for the shorter club. Accordingly for distance, it was also reading a little bit shorter for both clubs. Interestingly the smash factor for both devices was actually fairly close. So either trackman was reading me high or the SC300i was reading me lower. But of course I’m assuming the trackman is the more accurate being much more expensive and sophisticated device. But as I moved between different brands and shafts, I did note that the relative differences between the Trackman and the SC300i stayed pretty consistent. In other words, if I was getting better #s with a Titlelist versus a Callaway, both devices had the same relative differences. But I am just an older former college baseball player now turned weekend golfer playing 40 or so rounds a year. So I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a device but I’m serious enough that I’d like to get a little better. I think for my testing purposes during my not frequent enough range sessions, the swing caddie gives me good enough comparative numbers. i.e. if I’m tweaking driver settings or comparing my driver with another buddies, I think it would give me those relative numbers fairly well. As far as dialing in yardage numbers, I think it does better still at the shorter target clubs like wedges up to the seven iron but maybe a little less so for long irons, hybrids and woods. But I’m not in the market to spend the $20K+ for a Trackman so the swing caddy does the job good enough for me!

I have been waiting for this to arrive and its finally here. After receiving, i went straight to the practice range. Swing Caddie is like having your own mini golf coach in your pocket! It tracks shots, measures your swing speed, and gives you stats to up your game. I had my ear bud on and I get voice caddie, recite my yardage. It's super portable and easy to use, perfect for hitting the range or practicing in your backyard. It's a fun gadget for improving your swing. Definitely recommend for any golfer.

I laterally pulled this out of the box, charged it, and started using it! I went through the setup for each club and wrote in the clubs that I use. Then select each club for practice and I was off and running. Learning to do the video record took me some time to figure out. And, once I did, just like I thought, it was so simple to use. So when you download the app, go to practice, make sure you are connected to the device, and in the app, select video at the top, and "bam" your there. It links everything up really well and is great to help you work on a more rhythmic swing to hit the ball straighter, longer and better. THANK YOU Swing Caddie!
