This is now the second sweater like this that has done this - just split for no reason. Ugh, it makes me so angry. There’s never a ripping sound - there’s never any abuse to the sweater. I wore it to work this morning. It’s been washed and dried about 10 times. I look down and suddenly this giant hole has appeared. I bought this cardigan when I was 5 months pregnant and wore it up until my delivery day and postpartum. I liked it so much I asked my parents for a second one in a different color for Christmas. It’s a very comfortable sweater, just the right thickness for fall/winter, and the color is great. The fit was very true to size even during pregnancy. I have the yellow and gray. The material did start pilling rather quickly, but I did get a lot of wear out of them. I would definitely purchase again. ... show more

Sweaters are a gray area. If it's cold enough to need a sweater, it should be a comfy, bulky, heavy one, right? But in the summer, when you work in an air conditioned office, the heavy winter sweaters aren't quite what you need, but you need a little something. This sweater is crisp white, love that. It is lightweight, not enough to swelter in but enough coverage to feel comfy in the air conditioning. It seems well made and washed well (washed in cold water, fluffed for just five minutes in the dryer, then hang to dry). Size: Small Color: 6-2-green
Fit- I am 5'5", 100lbs, and I ordered the small. It fits pretty well, but there is definitely some room for other sizes, unless you're a good bit taller. The sleeves just come to my wrists, and they ride up quite a bit if I move my arms, so if you are very tall or have extra long arms, the sleeves may be too short. I wish they had xsmall though, as long as the sleeves didn't get even shorter. Material- The material is very soft and not stiff, even with the ribbing details. It's definitely more of a lightweight material, but I'd say closer to the heavier end of lightweight, almost medium. It seems like a decent material, but I am a bit concerned about how well it will hold up over time. Some reviews mentioned the seams coming apart, and while all my seams are fine now, I can see how they could wear since some of the seams aren't super tight but looser, more open weave. Care- The instructions say to hand wash, but I know my clothes will sit in the dirty clothes basket forever if I have to hand wash, so I always just take my chances and wash them in the machine. I washed this cardigan in cold water on the delicate cycle and laid flat to dry before wearing. Only one wash so far, but it did fine. Color- I ordered the green, and it was as I expected when it arrived. A bright green, but not grass or primary green, more jewel tone/emerald. Overall- It's a nice, soft cardigan with a decent fit. If it was a bit slimmer fit or came in xsmall and/or had longer sleeves, it would probably be 5 stars for me. I like the style and color variety available, but I will likely not purchase this again in another color. We'll see how it holds up over time and how I feel about the fit once I wear it more. ... show more

This sweater runs differently than I expected. Id order based on how you want it to fit. If you want it form fitting, go with Amazon's recommendation or a size larger. Which is what I did, due to my size DDD36 chest. This is such a great quality sweater, I ended up getting black and white as they are the perfect little cover up for most all outfits. The sleeves are a good length and the pockets are great and actually a flattering addition to the sweater. I'm 5'7", 180-185, top heavy. Ordered a medium! Odd, I know! Very cute in photo, but it does not fit me like that at all. The arms are really short and it does not fit on my shoulders nicely, very uncomfortable.. Wish I didnt wait so long to try and send back cause now I am stuck with it..
