The tie-backs included were the 1st thing I took out & I when I saw the motif, the colors, felt the fabric, & saw the tailoring & detail of the TIE-BACKS?! I knew the draperies would be perfect. Its terribly difficult to get an idea of how something will work w/your decor from an item pictured. These are more lovely than the photo could possibly show. I purchased 2 pairs of the 52Wx84L curtains & they fall to a perfect length. Even with Florida sunshine beaming thru such a large window, if I want to retreat to the bedroom for a Sunday nap at high noon, I can pull the drapes & totally block out the sun. I'd describe the fabric as having a weighty silken feel. Very soft to the touch but not overly shiny silky. I got totally excited when these arrived. The website, nor my camera phone, does these curtains justice. They are soft, the print is perfect, the seamwork is excellent, and the grommets are well done. I wanted a vintage look to the curtains, and blackout was a plus, but not a must. They do darken the room considerably. These curtains remind me of another era, the 50s, when I was a child. They are exactly what I wanted. But I was most excited with the subtle neutral colors that perfectly integrated with my furnishings and pictures. I really love these curtains! They look elegant but are incredibly priced. I’ve looked for weeks for affordable curtains. These are beautiful. They fit the victorian style og my home well. They are not as blackout as I would have hoped for but do the job. I have them covering my front door which has several pannels of glass, during the summer and winter for insulation.

These curtains are beautiful! The quality is very good and the colors are true to the advertised pictures. Matches my flamingo pink walls perfectly. I live in sunny south Florida so I would say that the curtains are “room softening” not darkening. They have a type of silk finish to them that I love.
