Nah yeah I’ve bought like two other radios from Amazon. This was the only one I’ve had for months now, that hasn’t malfunctioned in any way. The sound is loud, it has Bluetooth, u can use CDS? Like ? Yes. It’s worked great for me I still use it all the time. I got this mainly for the CDs but i quickly started to loveee the Bluetooth function too cus i don’t f w Alexa or anything! I use this boombox for playing audio book CDs from the library. Many similar purchases have had recurrent problems with the CDs skipping. I bought one last year and have been using it for over a year every night and it has not developed a skipping problem -- even on older library CDs.
