I suppose it could be cumbersome by getting tangled if it was not attached to something to support it, but it has stopped the birds, squirrels, chipmunks and rabbits from getting to my tomatoes. I used it to create a temporary fence to protect newly laid sod from my big Golden Retriever. Spreading/unrolling it was easy, pushing light poles (the 4 foot tall light-sensitive kind for marking driveways or paths at night) through and clipping the netting to the poles was even easier. And it’ll be easy to re-roll it to store for future uses.

Very effective netting. No more pecked tomatoes. Easy to cover plants with two people. You will need to anchor the net to the ground. My birds found gaps in the netting at ground level and continued to share my tomatoes with me. I used irrigation flags, but you could use anything to hold the net to the ground.

The media could not be loaded. Be careful and don’t just start unrolling the thing, it’s a lot to deal with. Probably best to have another person to help you just because it’s tricky to deal with and hard to see because it’s black lol. Good value👊!
