For the size, this light is actually pretty impressive. It’s compact, bright, and really convenient to use. I like that it has a few different lighting modes depending on what you’re shooting, and the battery life has been excellent in my experience. That said, this isn’t really a knock on the product itself, but I don’t find myself reaching for it as often as I thought I would. I already carry other portable lights, so this ends up being more of a situational tool for me. I’d really recommend this for people who don’t want to carry extra lighting gear and just want the convenience of being able to snap a light directly onto their DJI action cam or Osmo Pocket 3. The product itself is great, well made, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

I simply wanted a bit more light as it got closer to dusk and this thing delivered. I mount it on the side of my PGYTECH cage for my Action 5 and have had no issues with it providing light. It's pretty bright though, almost to the point that depending on how close I have the camera to me it can hurt my eyes. Luckily, it has 3 different strength levels to choose from. I haven't really used any of the other features as I just needed something basic. One thing to note, I was having issues powering it on when I first got it. Once I plugged it in to charge there were no further issues. The light was almost fully charged so it wasn't dead, but for some reason I had to plug it in almost like activating it. It's worked flawlessly since.

I quite like this little beacon of awesomeness. The ULANZI LM18 is small yet it delivers, bright enough to make faces stand out in dim rooms and firm enough to maintain presence without slipping into mediocrity. The USB C charging is modern and convenient. The quick release mount clips onto my rig with ease, making setup feel less like engineering and more like ritual. At full power it shines like a miniature stage spotlight, and at gentler settings it lingers for hours as a patient companion. When pushed to the maximum the battery will remind you of its limits, but that is to be expected. The IPX5 water resistance inspires confidence outdoors, and the 120 lux output at half a meter is respectable for such a small lamp. One complaint remains. It does not include a lighting adapter for certain camera systems, which feels like a slight given the otherwise thoughtful design. For the price such an addition would have been proper. Still, this light feels like a loyal squire, not perfect but always present when darkness falls. Four stars, nearly five, for a compact companion that brightens the work and spares me the burden of bulkier rigs.

The media could not be loaded. I like the mini LED light. It has three mode of light less brightness to bright. It just attached onto the action six but I don’t like how it’s underneath the camera so I get the cage so the LED light would be on the side instead of the bottom because I like to record and stand my action 6, but in my opinion if you like to record content I would get the cage and the LED light so it’s not on top of each other rather than beside each other

If you're looking to light up the night scene on the train tracks, then this light is not for you. If you're trying assess the damage aftermath from a tornado or a hurricane inside your house in the dark, then this light is for you. You can go from room to room with this mounted on your action camera and see exactly what the scenario is. It is a bright white light, not cream colored. It snaps easily onto your action camera and it's size is perfect for the action camera.

Super impressed with how tiny and bright this ULANZI LM18 vlogging light is! It snaps right onto my DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, and with the PK-06 adapter, it works great on Pocket 3/4 too. Despite its small size, its build is tough, it puts out a ton of light and is perfect for low-light shooting or vlogging on the go. Highly recommend for anyone who needs powerful, portable lighting!
