Description

Finally, A Fairway Metal That’s Long Like a Driver and an Absolute Rocket Off the Turf High, long and straight... If that’s not what you’re getting when hittingoff the deck now, then you need to check out the brand new Vixa V12. You’ll be amazed by how easy it is to get the ball up in the air from off the turf. Engineered by a “Hot List” club designer, the Vixa V12 is so accurate, it may just become your go-to club for golf’s longest, toughest shots. Finally you’ll have a reliable club for… Ultra-tight drives where you absolutely MUST hit the fairway, but can’t afford to sacrifice distance.Approach shots on that colossal par 4s that require every high- flying, ruler-straight yard you can muster.Par 5s where only a long, laser- guided layup give you any chance at birdie. Heat-Treated Inox Steel Clubface By applying outrageous amounts of heat to 17-4 stainless steel, the V12’s engineers could stretch Vixa’s face incredibly thin while maintaining durability. Translation: The ball explodes off the V12 like you won’t believe. Using steel instead of titanium also makes the Vixa fairay woods more flexible and a forgiving golf driver on off-center strikes. That equals longer, straighter shots on your miss-hits and fewer forays into trouble spots. Oh, and in case you’re curious about Vixa’s sound and feel: Soft, pure and pleasing to the soul. Read more Ultra-Low-Profile Setup, Dynamic Loft& Low and Forward COG From top to bottom, Vixa’s clubface measures just 1.4 inches(slim by fairway woods standards), placing the center of the clubface below the ball’s equatorso youautomatically catch the ball high on the face and take full advantage of Vixa’s loft. The Vixa fairway metal’s slender profile makes it incredibly easy to get up and off the deck. You don’t need to “help” the ball into the air; use your normal swing and the Vixa fairway metal does all the work. There’s also less space between the leading edge and the back of the club, too, which moves the COG forward and decreases spin off the tee. Less spin means more yardage, plus added roll once the ball lands. And, the Vixa’s clubface pairs perfectly with its ground-hugging sole. The V12 slides effortlessly under the ball, no digging or bouncing like you get with a traditional woods. Torque-Tuned Graphite Shaft Think of the Vixa V12 fairway woods golf club as a sports car: the clubhead is the engine, the grip the tires, and the shaft is the suspension. If it’s too loose (flexible) or tight for a given condition, it robs performance. A perfectly tuned shaft allows for maximum power transfer in a controlled manner. The flex, weight and torque of each of the Vixa’s five shaft options are perfectly tailored to deliver peak distance and accuracy based on your swing speed. You’ll love how smoothly this shaft loads and releases to generate effortless power – with responsive control. Legal for tournament play Vixa V12 – Easy to Hit. Consistent Distance. Consistent Accuracy. Consistent Confidence. Read more

  • Great club if you struggle with the driver.
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Loft: 14.5 Degrees
At the time I ordered this, I was having difficulty with hitting my driver. I was not getting proper distance and my shots were offline. This was advertised as a club that could potentially replace both the driver and the 3 wood and that sounded attractive to me, although I tend to hit my 3 wood really well. However, by the time I received the Vixa V12, I had corrected my issues with the driver and found I didn't really need this club. But I decided to take it to the range and test it out and I found this to be a really well-made club that performed well. If I had continued to struggle to hit my driver AND if I was not happy with my current 3 wood then I would have kept this club for sure. The distance was nowhere near as long as my driver if I hit both clubs equally solid but it was long enough and it was certainly easy to keep it in the fairway. It wasn't even quite as long as my Callaway 3 wood (which is a "strong" 3) but the club was super easy to hit and it was reliably accurate. It just so happens that I don't have the need for the club that I thought I would but I would highly recommend this club to anyone struggling to hit their driver. If you are curious how this compares to the GX-7 (which I've also tried in the past) I would take this club as it is more versatile. It has about the same distance off the tee as the GX-7 but it's more accurate and far easier to hit off the fairway than the GX-7 is. Hope this is helpful. ... show more

  • it was just like any 3 wood, false claims!

  • Misleading
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Shaft with Stainless S... Flex: Senior Loft: 14.5 Degrees
I liked the videos because they were describing my problems. However, once on the range, I just can not seem to be able to hit the ball. I go back to my 3 or 5 wood and no problems but for some reason, I either top it slice it or hook. I have gone back the videos and reviewed their suggestions but it has not helped. I wish I can return it because I am not happy with it but pass the time frame. Weather here in Il has not been the best to get out and play with it more. ... show more

  • It is forgiving
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Stiff Loft: 14.5 Degrees
This club brings the ball off the fairway very well. It doesn't stick if you are a little behind the ball and it has very good response when the club head meets the ball.

I'm still trying to hit this club consistently, but it seems to be an answer to my distance problems. I'm having trouble hitting to the right, but I'm getting better.

  • WOW. If you have trouble with your 3wood get this club!
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Shaft with Stainless S... Flex: Senior Loft: 18.5 Degrees
I have only played one round with the club. WOW!! Used as a driver on longer par 3's and drilled it every time. On in 1. Off the fairway better height and distance. No trouble adapting to club.

  • Worth the money
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite Flex: Regular Loft: 14.5 Degrees
Easy to hit off the tee box, but not quite as long as my driver, but on narrow fairways or landing areas I use it off the tee box. I did replace my 3 wood with this club for the time being. I've played about 5 rounds with it and like it. It was worth the money I paid for it. B

Amazon just delivered my Vixa an hour ago...took it out back, made 3 practice swings then hit a ball out of 3" crab grass (with the plastic still on the head) in to a field across the street. It went about 210 yards up a hill with a nice 10 yd draw. Didn't even feel like I hit the sweet spot. Already in my bag for my 4:00P tee time!!!! ... show more
