These grow light height adjusters are so easy to hook up and use and the length is fantastic. I had some others that adjusted through a silver mechanism in which I had to press a tiny protruding button through which the cable passed in order to shorten or lengthen the height and the length of the cable sometimes was not long enough. I tried these because they were less expensive and for most of my lights I had been using twine. No more twine!

I had used chains to raise and lower my grow lights in the past, which were a pain to work with. I was able to adapt these rope hangers to the different grow lights I have making it so that they can all be raised and lowered very easily due to the ratchet in the hanger. I just received them and put them up, which is why I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 rating. Longevity is important.
