I’ve been wanting a solid vacuum pump setup for a long time, and I finally pulled the trigger on this one. I’ve mainly been using it to service my own vehicles' HVAC systems, and it’s honestly been everything I hoped for. If you do any DIY work on cars or home AC units, having one of these is a huge upgrade from borrowing or using questionable service tools. The pump itself feels like a tank—heavy-duty but not ridiculously bulky. It pulls a deep vacuum fast and doesn't overheat, even after running for a while. I’ve used it on two AC systems already, and both held vacuum perfectly after evacuation, so it’s definitely doing its job. The included manifold and hoses are better quality than I expected too. Everything hooks up easily and seals well. I also appreciate the little details: the sight glass makes it simple to keep an eye on oil levels, and the case keeps the whole kit organized. One thing I’d note is that the quick couplers come open out of the box, so be sure to close them before hooking anything up—learned that one the hard way. This has already saved me a ton in shop fees, and I kind of wish I’d bought it sooner. For anyone serious about DIY automotive or home HVAC work, it’s a solid investment that makes the job smoother and more reliable.

This is a really nice set to service your air conditioner. Strong and powerful motor pulls a good vacuum. Easy to use double manifold gauges that come with the hoses and hook up attachments. A good value for an accurate setup. Comes with a nice carrying bag.

I am thrilled to report that this A/C vacuum pump and gauge kit worked perfectly for me as a DIY shadetree mechanic. I ordered this service kit from Vivohome. Right from the start, I was impressed with the packaging. It was a box in a box in a box. Very well protected! The whole kit comes in a nice nylon carrying case with a divider between the vacuum pump and the blow molded case for the gauges and fittings. Everything really has the appearance of good quality. The gauges are clear and easy to read. They're actually properly calibrated right at zero from the factory. It has clear instructions to get you going from step one. I watched a couple of how to videos on YT which made the whole process almost effortless. I bought 2 cans of R134a at the local auto parts store. I used about 1 1/2 cans. The A/C now blows colder than it ever has. I'm thrilled. What a great kit! You don't need to buy some high dollar professional kit. Highly recommended.

Used these to test and charge my car's AC. Worked just like you'd expect them too. Connections were nice and secure, pump works great. I've used kits that were more expensive and these worked just as good. I think the one thing that will determine how good these are is their longevity. I will report back if anything changes, but as of now, I recommend.

The vacuum pump in our auto repair shop failed, this entire system which includes the gauge set. This system features 9.6 CFM and works very well in removing trapped air and moisture in customer's automotive AC system's. It's refrigerant compatibility range covers everything that we regularly service in cars at our shop. The overall build quality and functionality of this system is very adequate. The gauges feature rubber casing and a sturdy hook allows the Gauge manifold to be safely hanged during usage.
