***UPDATE*** I was contacted by the customer support teams with some things to try. When they didn"t work, they agreed to send me a brand new machine!!! My confidence is restored in VIVOHome!!! Thank you for taking care of your customers!!! I purchased the VIVOHome upgraded swing away heat press in September of 2020. The price was decent and it is really a good looking, well built machine. I was excited to start using it. It worked great for a couple of months. However, I noticed vinyl peeling off of one of my shirts after only one wash. I did about 30 shirts for a volleyball team and had several shirts brought back because the vinyl peeled. Then I made some shirts for a fried of mine and they were returned because of the vinyl coming off. I checked the temperature and found that the temp was over 125 degrees off!!! I turned the heat press to the highest setting and still could not get the temperature high enough to press a shirt! This machine has a 3 month warranty and I started having issues in the 4th month!!! Now, I am out of $250 and have a 4 month old machine that I can't use. I emailed VIVOHome support and have gotten no reply. The phone number on their website appears to be a non-working number. Save yourself some time, money, and frustration and don't buy this unit! ... show more

    • Horrible product! Do not purchase
The machine plate for t-shirts works fine. However, the accessories DO NOT WORK. It’s a very basic setup, so it doesn’t take a genius to attach the mug extension to the temp box. Did that, and nothing. It get an E2 message, which seems to indicate an error (duh because the crap wont heat). When I first cut it on set temp… it beeps for a second and then the E2 message starts. This is my second purchase of this brand and product and each time there’s something faulty. COUNT IT… 2 time buy and same issue! Do not buy this heat press machine. Just opt in for cricut products at least they are tentative to their customers, and they stand my their products. This company only has an email option for customers service. Do your homework when purchasing these products especially from Amazon. They don’t care what the vendors sell you or how much money you lose. ... show more

    • Great but defective
While the press' heat distribution works just fine and the press gets the job done, the reset button doesn't work. I don't why I would need to reset it and I hope I never find out. I chose to keep the machine because I needed it when I purchased it and didn't want to go through the hassle of returning over such a minor issue. I love the look and it's so easy to use my nine year old helps with pressing custom designs on shirts. I won't complain because of a messed up reset button.     • Easy and consistent
I just made a TON of shirts. If it was powered on I could tell you how many because it keeps track of each cycle you initiate when you close it. I was skeptical because of other reviews saying the heat was uneven and fluctuated. It does fluctuate, but only when you place a cold shirt in, temp drops a few degrees, or if you have done things back to back it may read a few degrees higher. This is part of normal operation! All of your heat tools in life do this, just not all of them display the fluctuations! You need this in your life if you make shirts! ... show more

    • It’s just OK.
The press works as advertised. The heat distribution from the upper plate seems to be OK, but with the clamshell closed the bottom and the top don’t necessarily line up correctly. There are gaps from front to back. Also when swinging the upper clamshell out of the way for the next piece, the power cord tends to wiggle itself loose from the control head. This happens about every five times when you move it 90° out-of-the-way. Just kind of an annoyance. All of these presses are made in China probably at the same manufacturing plant. So they’re kind of all the same. I do have to give high marks on the packaging for shipping. It came in excellent condition ... show more

    • I Wanted To Love It
What I had hoped for was that this would be a good press to take to weekend events. It was small enough to be transported easily, it was a swing-away which I have not purchased before but seemed convenient and it was compact and didn’t require a lot of space. What I discovered after working a two day event with it is that you can really only swing it one way or the cords are in your way. The platent is too close the the frame so it’s hard to squeeze a shirt in there. The pad is not adhered to the frame so it slides around. The top and bottom are actually difficult to line up while pressing. It has uneven heat distribution. The temperature fluctuates up to thirty degree in either direction.     • LOVE IT. BUT TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATES EVEN WHEN SET.
I love the product. Better design than the regular slide out. How ever I did notice that the temperature fluctuates +/- 5 to 10 degrees and doesn’t stay at the temp I set it at. Max Temp is 380 degrees but sometimes will exceed that when it feels like it. Sometimes it will be well below that.

Honestly I think this machine is a really good value for the money looking for a start out there are multiple multiple adapters you can buy for this and even though I don't have any of those currently I will be investing in those the heat up very quickly you do not have to do multiple presses to make your vinyl stickers stick everything seems to be pretty self-explanatory the manual that comes with it very easy to understand very pleased and happy with my product ... show more
