Definitely more suited to a professional HVAC technician, as the instructions are a little unclear. There's a lot of information there, but not clear step-by-step instructions for the many different functionalities. If you know what your are doing, this set is hard to beat. I use more for auto than home A/C, and it will do that fine, but there are no fittings for automotive connections. Very feature-rich. If you use alkaline batteries (takes four), PLEASE remember to remove them EACH time you store the kit. Leaking batteries will destroy electronic devices such as this in no time.

Seems like a good unit. Instructions are iffy at best. Maybe there are too many features and that doesn’t help the instructions. But as soon as the refrigerant type is set it’s easy to use. If you’re wanting to do R134 you’ll need to purchase the quick connects, they attach fairly easily. The yellow charge hose however took a few different orders to get the correct adapter. It’s the R134A Brass Adapter Fitting, 1/4" Male to 1/2" Female adapter. Unit works great and has rather quick display for pressure changes.
