I was not really liking these the first time out. However, this weekend I docked the boat at a location that had high sidewall. These came in very handy to protect the boat's high gunnel side. Do not rely on the rope cinch alone, make sure to tie the rope end off as recommended, as the rope will slip from the cinch (I missed that part of the info in the beginning).

Works just like the expensive ones but for a fraction of the cost. Has protected my boat through a couple storms at the dock. Super easy to adjust height. Adjusted a stayed in place without issue. Would definitely buy again if I needed to but they don't need replaced.
