Since I wasn't totally thrilled with the scent when I opened the bottle, I started out with 3 reeds, aiming for a very subtle effect in my bedroom. Suffice it to sat that the result was beyond subtle; I could only get a hint of scent when standing directly over the diffuser bottle. And this while following the instructions to reverse reeds daily... Compared to a similar reed diffuser (different product) in another part of the house, in a bigger room, with only 2 reeds which produces a delightfully subtle scent over as much wider area-- I am not impressed with this product. I'm experimenting today with the addition of one more reed and will update if there's an improvement.

This is my first time trying a diffuser. I've seen them in other people's homes many times and figured I'd give it a try. I am not disappointed. First off, the packaging is exceptional. My first thought was that this would make a great gift that you could direct ship to someone else's house and be confident it will make a nice presentation upon receiving. The fragrances are nice. The Tobacco & Vanilla definitely seems to me a little bit stronger than the Floral Fruit, which had a more subtle scent to it. I've had these out for a little over a month now and the bottles are still full. I don't really know how long they last. There is a nice replaceable cork that accompanies these bottles so you can use them sporadically so not to use them up continuously.
