These handrails are a very good buy and durable. The hardware is included and there are tools and instructions. It is helpful to also look online for tips on installation and you will need a hammer drill for installation. If there are hollow areas under your concrete steps or stoop, some of the bolt holders may fall through the drill holes and be lost. Since they are wrought iron, you will have to be sure there are no scratched areas where rusting might occur. I recommend these handrails.

I love these rails The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer and the buyer is to use a different screw. The little ones that come with it do not hold up. I choose a hexhead screw that is thicker and longer. What a difference.

These handrails came very well packaged and the directions were really clear on how to assemble. I love how they look, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the middle spindles (not the two end posts) rattle. I tightened them as much as possible, but they still have a little play in them and rattle. Other than spindles that rattle, I love how they look.

I purchased this for outdoor use as I can no longer scramble up and down the retaining wall as I used to. I knew I was going to have to modify the design to work in my garden. Unfortunately, I couldn't slip the vertical piece over a stake or rebar as I had planned as the bottom was solid. I used 8" tent stakes, but it still wobbles some and does not provide the stable support I had expected for safety. The manufacturer did provide screws for wood and cement anchors for concrete. Even a drill bit to drill into concrete if necessary. Maybe it would have been more stable had I installed it on the material intended. My other complaint/concern is the open hole that allows the horizontal pieces to attach at a flexible angle (see picture). With a solid base and no provision for drainage, I'm concerned that the accumulation of water will lead to a rusty bottom over time. It was very easy to assemble. It has a nice powder coat and looks nice in my garden, though I may paint it a dark green someday. For double handrails I though this was good value for the money.

The instructions were very clear and easily understandable. Assembly was easy. Seem very strong and supportive. My only issue is the base mounting holes need to be bigger to allow for concrete drill drifting. Mounting on wood would be a breeze but when drilling concrete, rocks in the concrete tend to cause a little drill drifting. A couple holes I had to enlarge with a grind stone and a Dremel motor. The bolts (anchors) are 6mm (5/16”) and the mount holes aren’t much bigger. Otherwise easy to assemble and install.
