Description
MOUNT-VP01B is a brand new, heavy duty, all steel, universal ceiling projector mount. Ideal for any home or office, this high grade steel mount is weight tested at 13.6 kg and designed with adjustable arms to fit most projector brands with mounting ranges from 5.1 to 31.8 cm. MOUNT-VP01B sits 15.2 cm from flat ceilings making it low profile. Features include 15 degree tilt, 15 degree swivel, and 360 degree rotation to maximize projection angles. Simple tightening of joints makes this as fluid or stationary as desired. This is a quick assembly and comes with common mounting hardware. The projector mount comes in a black finish.

In summary: Solid design seems to fit all projector types and allows for easy positioning to get just the right angle. Takes some finesse to get the projector on the mount. See the video for a hands on demonstration. I purchased the ceiling mount for my outdoor theater system and am very happy with it. For the price I paid I received a very well made mount that I have complete faith in. It leaves the projector a good distance from the ceiling (about 4 inches) and allows me to easily position the projector at the correct angle depending on where my screen is, which is important because I may not set the screen in the same spot every time. As you can see from the stock photos, there are three pivot points for you to point the projector up and down or tilt left and right. And the arms that attach to the projector itself allow some wiggle so that you can pivot left and right. You can loosen and tighten each pivot point, but just out of the box the screws were loose enough that I could pivot the projector but tight enough that it would stay in place. Perfect! First time setup will likely take you 15 or 20 minutes to get the arms in the right spot (which requires unscrewing some of those arms) but the design is such that it seems like it should fit almost any projector- including supplying 4 different sizes of screws to attach to the mount to the projector. Once the projector is attached to the bottom part of the mount, you will need to attach it to the top part of the mount, which will take another 10 minutes of unscrewing and positioning. Once you've got everything in place the first time, removing the projector from the mount will take you about 3 minutes each time. I wish this took less time but I can't complain because I don't think that's really what the mount was made for. And 3 minutes isn't really a big deal anyway. I can strongly recommend this product!

I purchased this mount to hang an Epson Home Cinema 4000 projector on my basement ceiling and it worked perfectly. Due to the placement of the mounting holes on the Epson 4000, I was only able to use 3 mounting mountings but it is rock solid. The mount comes with all the necessary mounting screws to attach the mount to the ceiling, including anchors for drywall mounting. Also included are multiple screws of varying diameter for attaching the mount to your projector. Everything you need is included with this projector mount. Once you have attached the mount to your projector, it is very easy to attach it to the base on the ceiling. Simply slide the quick release hooks onto the base and tighten the screws. The Epson 4000 is a very big projector and I was able to attach it to my ceiling using this mount without any additional help. The mount is also very easy to adjust, you can swivel it up or down, left or right and spin 360 degrees very easily. Overall, I would say that this projector mount is an excellent product and very good if you need a sturdy (30lbs max) easy to install and adjustable low profile mount then this one is pretty good.

This was a great find. It’s the least expensive mount that I saw, and it does the job! I did some creative maneuvering and got the mount connected to the projector with some trial and error. I mounted the ceiling piece with no issues, but I had to think about the slant of the projector before mounting or I would have mounted the ceiling piece backward. If you are going to swing your projector downward slightly, you need to mount the ceiling piece with “made in China “forward, toward the screen. That wasn’t mentioned in the instructions. It looks fine, but you really can’t see it with the projector right under it. I do believe it is durable as it is made of metal and the screws all tighten up. It pivots in about any direction, so you should be able to get your projector image as desired. I recommend mounting a board from joist to joist, or a piece of plywood attached to one joist, lest the mount might dig into your drywall. I would never mount a projector using drywall anchors. I don’t recommend all of the products I buy on Amazon, but I do recommend this mount.

I needed a new mount going from my old Epson 400 max output 720p to my new monstrous Epson 4010 4k projector. I had 2 choices, Best Buy install or a DIY with a cheap mount. I went the later knowing if I messed something up I could just spend the extra coin on geek squad coming out - luckily I didn't need to. This mount is great! It comes with all the hardware necessary plus it includes multiple sized screwed for various brands of projectors. I'm giving the product a 5 star overall due to value, but there is 1 caveat to which I read in another person's review of their Epson 4000 which applies to the 4010 and above line of Epsons as well and that is that 1 of the legs does not reach so you will only get 3 legs attached. Luckily because of the position you can grab with the 3 legs it makes it incredibly sturdy. My only gripe at this point with the mount is how easy it is to manipulate. This may not be a problem for most home theatre rooms, but mine is located right below my kitchen where the kids run through like crazy and the pounding the floor takes above moves the projector to where at night when I turn it on I usually need to adjust it to the center. Not a big deal, but I wish there was a better way to find a setting and cement it to that exact point so it doesn't move. Overall, the minor grip aside it's a very sturdy and heavy mount that at this price point and the articulation it gives you cannot beat.

I can't believe the pricing on this mount. It's extremely well made and was exactly what I needed. I mounted a BenQ MH535FHD in my finished basement. Adjusting it took a bit of time but the entire install was exceptionally smooth. In my case all the mounting hardware was there including the bolts that fit my particular projector. The BenQ I have has only 3 mount holes so I was able to remove the 4th mounting bracket for a clean install. Very low profile. I couldn't be more pleased -- this is certainly one mount to consider depending on the weight of your particular projector.

This does not fit Optoma projectors. There are two issues: 1. the included M4 bolts are too short for optoma. You need to purchase your own M4 by 12mm bolts for a few bucks at a local supply store. 2. The optoma mounting holes are very close together and these arms won't fit, even after removing an arm. You will need to make two modifications: First, remove and arm and cut it in half so that it won't interfere with the other arms. Second, remove one of the arms and mount it in a different location using the existing arcs that in the plate. This mount will work for Optoma, but it requires a trip to Home Depot / Lowes and cutting and relocating the arms. Overall, I'm happy with the mount, but not happy that it took me two trips to Home Depot and probably 3 hours in total to finally get this mounted. Knowing what I know now, I would be able to get this sorted in about an hour, including the trip to Home Depot.
