Excellent screen for the price. Mine was wrinkle free and worked as expected. The wired remote looks a bit cheap but I tucked that away and will never use it - the wireless remote is classy and came with a wall mount, which was nice. Thanks to the person above for the suggestion on how to adjust the drop length with the yellow hex. The screen was wrinkle free and looks great. Does the job exactly as it should. It does smell a bit but I'm sure that'll go away in a few days. All in all 5/5 would buy again for the money spent. ... show more

When this was first installed we were very excited as the screen material was great and the projected image looked fantastic. There were some creases in the screen material but they went away after a few uses. For the first few weeks, the screen came down and stopped on its own at just the right place for our setup. On week 3 or so we noticed it wasn't stopping and was going down too low, and wasn't going back up all the way. Tried to adjust the stops on the motor and that had no affect. Now it rolls all the way out and then starts going back up the other way, scraping the screen on the housing. Reached out to support for help. They replied right away and wanted the order number, photos and video proof. Sent that back and no response. Reached out several times, and tried to start a new contact again, and they are completely ignoring me. Since this was a gift and was purchased about a month before I received it, and then we waited a few weeks to install it, we are out of the return window. We were going to buy another one for a different room, but not any more. DO NOT BUY, read the other 1 star reviews with similar issues with the product and the lack of service. ... show more

Great quality projector screen! The material and overall build feel premium, and it works really well once set up. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is the cable length. it’s surprisingly short for a screen designed to be mounted on the ceiling, so you’ll need an extension cord. Also, the power box on the cord could be smaller for a cleaner, more aesthetic look. It’s also a bit of a joke that the screws and anchors provided aren’t appropriate for the size and weight of the screen, I’d strongly recommend using your own mounting hardware for safety. To start off, I own 2 other projection screens. This particular item feels just "decent". The housing and motor feels adequately built, but the power wiring and embedded control could use some improvements. The screen does "feel" premium as it is wrinkle-free and thicker so it can block any lighting coming from behind the screen. No issues with the motor and remote used to raise or lower this projection screen; it does the job with minimal noise and so far seems to work ok. I wanted this one particularly to be able to "put away" the screen while not in use with the projector as I have smaller actual TV behind in the same area for activities that won't work well with projection (motion sensing games where the kids have to stand in front of the projector range), so it did the trick. However, I do have some complains on the product which may help some others decide on whether or not to get this. For comparison purposes, I am using a higher end triple laser 4K UHD projector capable of 5700 lumens light output with this projector screen. Most importantly, the advertised claim that this product has a 1.2 gain is completely crap and false. This product has an almost NON reflective, matte, and "slightly off white" "painted" viewing area, I see it as almost zero gain. My bare painted wall is more reflective. I have another projection screen with a true 1.1 gain, and the difference was noticed immediately. What does this mean? Well, I'm not saying the product is necessarily bad, it depends on how you plan on using this screen. If your projector has high powered output, you could turn up the brightness output as needed and it'll be fine, but if you have a lower end model with < 1000 lumens, your projected output will look dull. The screen would be fine in a perfect "black room" setup in dark/no light rooms as that will be the only source of visible light. I for one like that slightly "reflective" screen because it just appears brighter and makes the image "pop" more visually. The second complaint I have is on their obnoxiously deep grooved and rather large pitted "matte" grains. When projecting 4K UHD, these little grains will sometimes "bend" or "blur" the individual light "pixels" and cause the projected image to be not as "sharp" and detailed. E.g. when a pixel falls in-between a surface and the pit. I shared a picture of the screen and it's grooves alongside a standard No.2 pencil tip. My other screen with a true 1.1 gain has a more smoother and less intrusive grains where the projected image is much sharper. For reference when I'm using the projector with this screen, I have to adjust the light level output to about a 3 or 4 out of 10 but with the other 2 screens I have, I can leave the brightness at 1 and it's enough. (Projector Laser LEDs lasts longer if you don't strain it with full power output at all times) Another important thing to note, when you roll the screen down the first time, be very careful to "gently" remove any metal shards or fragments from the screen before rolling it back up. I don't know if it's every screen, but on mine, I noticed tiny metal fragments which probably fell loose from the casing when they screwed everything together at the factory. These can scratch up your screen or give you a metal splinter. Final thoughts; since I have everything already mounted to the ceiling, I'm reluctant to try/buy yet another screen since the main purpose for this screen was to be able to have it roll up and away when not in use, and it does serve the purpose. The brightness I can increase a little on the projector so it's not terrible, but the lack of sharpness detail will forever annoy me. ... show more

I'm kinda new to using projectors. I didn't realize the screen makes that much of a difference. This screen makes my cheap 720p projector look good. It did look a bit dim with my old screen but with the new screen it looks as good as any TV in brightness. Also with the lights at 100% brightness the screen hardly washes out any. I'm not sure how this screen compares to the expensive screens but I do know how it compares to my old 80 dollar screen and it's night and day different. I put a video with this review I want you all to remember it's a 120 dollar projector and this setup is in a shed in the back yard. So I'm sure it would look even better with a good projector in better conditions. Also the screen covers a window when down and there is no light that bleeds threw which is very nice. ... show more

Using the screen for about a month in a light controlled room. Couldn't be happier. Paired with an Epson 3800 and Samsung 4k play and Sony 3D player. Kids have now religiously asked for movie night each weekend. The big picture is emersive.
