I'm kinda new to using projectors. I didn't realize the screen makes that much of a difference. This screen makes my cheap 720p projector look good. It did look a bit dim with my old screen but with the new screen it looks as good as any TV in brightness. Also with the lights at 100% brightness the screen hardly washes out any. I'm not sure how this screen compares to the expensive screens but I do know how it compares to my old 80 dollar screen and it's night and day different. I put a video with this review I want you all to remember it's a 120 dollar projector and this setup is in a shed in the back yard. So I'm sure it would look even better with a good projector in better conditions. Also the screen covers a window when down and there is no light that bleeds threw which is very nice. ... show more

The projector screen is great. Quality of the SCREEN is unbeatable for the price. The biggest caveat FOR SAFETY I must share with everyone is if you attempt to mount this to the ceiling DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED ANCHORS/HOOKS!!!!!!!!!!! I knocked off a star because of this. The item description says it's only 25 lbs, but I find that very hard to believe. This thing is heavy and will be on a ceiling potentially where gravity is your enemy and you probably wont have studs or jousts to drill into. It will absolutely fall out of the ceiling so be careful. I have mine on my ceiling with 100 lb supporting anchors I got on my own. Screen works as intended, definitely a fun little side project but please be careful and do your research ... show more

Works great for using in our backyard. The remote is a nice feature especially if the plug is on the ceiling. When the screen is down it’s free hanging in front of windows and doors to the living room. The picture does not penetrate the screen and has been wrinkle free. Picture quality is good but to be fair I bought a very low priced projector(~$250) to pair with this. I didn’t know that was a low priced projector until researching to buy. Since it does well with that projector I am sure it would be superb with an even higher quality as well. But the two of them create a great alternative to sitting inside all the time. ... show more

When this was first installed we were very excited as the screen material was great and the projected image looked fantastic. There were some creases in the screen material but they went away after a few uses. For the first few weeks, the screen came down and stopped on its own at just the right place for our setup. On week 3 or so we noticed it wasn't stopping and was going down too low, and wasn't going back up all the way. Tried to adjust the stops on the motor and that had no affect. Now it rolls all the way out and then starts going back up the other way, scraping the screen on the housing. Reached out to support for help. They replied right away and wanted the order number, photos and video proof. Sent that back and no response. Reached out several times, and tried to start a new contact again, and they are completely ignoring me. Since this was a gift and was purchased about a month before I received it, and then we waited a few weeks to install it, we are out of the return window. We were going to buy another one for a different room, but not any more. DO NOT BUY, read the other 1 star reviews with similar issues with the product and the lack of service. ... show more

It appears that all of these screens are made by one company and sold under various names. The screen I received had a significant dent in the metal housing. The screen material itself had some small wrinkles which were not very noticeable at viewing distance. However, the screen has a very strong chemical smell when you bring it down for the first time. You'll probably want to air out your room and the screen to get rid of the smell. The mounting hardware is subpar and I would strongly recommend that you buy dedicated mounting hardware (drywall anchors, etc) to mount the screen with. Also, the power cable and wired remote cables are both located on the same side of the remote which is odd looking if you're using a power outlet that's closer to the ground. Trying to exchange the damaged screen for a different one was more of a hassle than it should have been. Bottom line, since all of these screens appear to be made by the same manufacturer and relabeled, pick the cheapest one in the size that you need. ... show more

Excellent screen for the price. Mine was wrinkle free and worked as expected. The wired remote looks a bit cheap but I tucked that away and will never use it - the wireless remote is classy and came with a wall mount, which was nice. Thanks to the person above for the suggestion on how to adjust the drop length with the yellow hex. The screen was wrinkle free and looks great. Does the job exactly as it should. It does smell a bit but I'm sure that'll go away in a few days. All in all 5/5 would buy again for the money spent. ... show more
