First off I’d like to mention that this stand has higher build quality than the shorter version sold on amazon. I was surprised to see the arm is completely pre-assembled and that the vesa isn’t detachable like the shorter Vivo stand. This stand worked great for me but others might run into issues with one thing. The pole that the arm mounts on actually comes in two pieces with a large piece in the middle dividing the two sections. I was lucky and my monitor was just the right height sitting on top of this ring but I feel like this general area might be the sweet spot for some people’s setups depending where the vesa mounts. The lower half is 14 3/4” to the ring. From there the stand is unusable all the way up to 16 1/4”. From then on you have up to 31” of overall height. I would still recommend this stand to other even with these flaws. The only other thing I’d note is make sure you slide on the ring cover for the lower stand that’s supposed to hide the screws and ugly welds. I forgot to do this and it’s impossible to put on after everything is assembled and I’m too lazy to take it all apart again now. 😅 ... show more

Read all the comments before purchasing about the assembly issues with this product, but ignored them thinking it wouldn't happen to me. I mean many people had been complaining about the issue so I'm sure they've resolved it right? So I tore down my complicated setup and waited for parts to arrive so I could reconfigure it again. Sure enough the parts arrived and I also was also unable to assemble. Could only get one thread screwed into the clamp base and one thread into the coupler. Needles to say I was extremely hot. So if you buy this product plan on calling support and getting new parts sent out to you before ever using it. I'm a person of principle and having to replace parts before ever using the product is unacceptable to me. They know there are more bad versions of this product out there, but they're just going to let us call and have the parts replaced until all the defected units are replaced instead of doing the right thing. I have 2 already from another brand, but I chose this brand because it appeared at the top of the list. Should have stuck with what I know works. ... show more

I already had the AmazonBasics Single Monitor Display Mounting Arm for my main monitor. I recently purchased Vanatoo Transparent One Powered Speakers (Black, Set of 2) and my second monitor, which was to the left of my main monitor, was blocking the left speaker. I wanted to open up the space so I purchased the extra tall version of the VIVO mount and placed the second monitor on top of the main monitor. This worked out perfectly (see photo). Installation was easy. I really like the cable management hooks. The joints are plenty stiff and stay in place well once you tighten them. And the height was perfect for what I needed. However, I think the base should be bigger to accommodate the extra height of the mount so that it can be more stable. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I'm worried that the extra torque will rip the desk off with the weight of the monitor on top. Take a look at the photo and compare the base of the extra tall VIVO to the Amazon mount. ... show more

Got it out of the box and installed in 5 minutes with help from the included manual. I recently purchased Dell 24" monitor (P2416D) and 27" 4K monitor (P2715Q) and needed the 24" monitor to be pivoted for programming. I usually carefully search online to get the best product out of the budget I have. This product looked good for my purpose for the buck. I ordered it and installed it. - Pictures attached are the following: * Front view of the installed monitor * Side view of the installed monitor * Back of the monitor: How this mount is holding VESA mount. * Bottom of the mount: How this mount is holding from the desk. * Bar of the mount: Shows how to manage cables and tools (I loved how they included little holders for the given tools. So smart) * Monitor can be pivoted easily. * Monitor can be tilted easily, too. So now you've (hopefully) taken a look at pictures, and you have better idea of how this product is installed. Moving, swinging, tilting, pivoting around monitor with this mount is super easy. It doesn't feel cheap. It's very sturdy and smooth. I tried to give a little force to move it around forcefully, but it held the bar from the desk pretty well. I don't feel like I need to worry about falling from this mount. One of the best product I purchased from Amazon (after +7 years with thousands of the products ordered). I am willing to get another one for my 27" monitor! I ordered the 17.5" pole with 15.5" arm version. This is the 2nd Vivo monitor stand I have owned (I recently got a new desk and had to change my setup). Vivo makes very sturdy stands - the metal is thick and reliable on this mount. This stand barely allows my Macbook pro 13" to sit below the external monitor - which is exactly what I want but there is no wiggle room to move external monitor higher. I wish they made a 21" pole or something less than the extra-tall 35" one... but still am very happy with the 17.5" pole. There were no threading issues with this mount. ... show more
