I've owned some really expensive arms in the past and this unit has similar build quality but the design is actually better. I love how sturdy the mounting plate assembly is and it was very easy to install, with great instructions. Once you set the tensions correctly per the instructions you're able to set the position precisly and it stays in place. I also love that it goes pretty flat against the wall if you need to get it out of the way temporarily. Of course this needs to be in studs, can't imagine why they even bother with the drywall screws.

This monitor arm can hold up quite a bit of weight. My 38-inch LG 1440p curved was hung well without even a hint of flex from the arms. I don't doubt it can hang a 49 inch with ease. It allow descent amount of vertical and side-to-side movement, as well as full 90 degree rotation clockwise or counter-clockwise! It also allow what feels like 30 degree tilt down, which was perfect for me with my monitor hung from 5 feet in height (over my triple monitor setup). It also does have a channel for cables which is nice. The 3 mounting screws included are thick and will require drilling a pilot hole if going into stud. While this arm is pricier than others, the strength and the adjustment flexibilities are well worth it.

Yes, this does work on the aforementioned model, without any additional adapters or tools. Has decent adjustability. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the plastic adapter that attaches one of the arms to the other. It's more of an oversized plastic washer. It should be okay though, as it won't see much movement or friction. But still...why not steel? Assembly is simple, instructions are good.

The media could not be loaded. The system seems sturdy enough, but went to install and noticed the end that attaches to monitor doesn’t seem right. First, it’s at an angle that even with a heavy load, it would still have the monitor facing upwards very steep. Inspecting that piece further, I realized that it’s not even put together well, with the tension adjustment bolt not accessible (being blocked by the plastic cover as in photo 1), and is pushing that plastic cover away looking like it’ll break the plastic (photo 2). Sucks that I installed the arm into the wall, meaning holes are made in the stud, and I may need to replace this unit completely. Clearly quality control was not a top priority when packaging. Updated to 1 star as it seems this company doesn’t have any customer service.

I bought this for my LG Ultragear 49 inch curved monitor. I saw the competition had a similar unit at 3 to 4 times the price of this one, so I had my doubts if it would work. I have had it up for over a week now and it works perfectly. No extra parts needed and simple to install. You need to take some time adjusting the tension to get it set up, but once that's done it stays in place and is easy to raise, lower and adjust position. And frees up a ton of space on my desk. The advertisement says it works with Samsung Odyssey; I wondered if it would work with my LG Ultragear of same size. Yes it does!
