I think as long as you are not in a rush and can return the item you have a better shot at buying this. I am currently in the middle of litigation and taking a double load in college so I can't afford to wait or actually afford another monitor arm right now especially since I don't know where my stand is. I wasn't able to completely screw the arm into the stand. I'm not sure why but it just got stuck. It's good quality. Also for some reason my monitoring is crooked...Maybe if i spend a little more money I can get a better arm which I will do once I upgrade my monitor. My monitor is a little $120 24 inch LG monitor. The cheapest I could buy at microcenter just enough to get my off a laptop and through school with all the typing I have to do . I may purchase my next from BH photo which may be of higher quality. This will work if you need something quick and if your monitor isn't too heavy that if you have an issue screwing it in. ... show more

    • I've bought 1/2 dozen monitor arms -- this was the best.
I use a heavy 31" monitor on an Uplift desk. I have bought several arms over the years but never had one just be a good fit without costing $350 before this one. I tried the more traditional arm, but I found the pole mount design is better as it keeps the area under the monitor totally clear. That allows for pushing the keyboard under it / out of the way should I need more work area. A traditional arm got in the way. However, with the pole design, my large heavy monitor seemed too much for the two pole mounts I tried before this one. The pole would strain over like it was about to crack. Then, I was constantly battling the screen tilt on 2 of the other designs as there was no way to tighten them down to hold a certain screen position. if it got it just so, and then raised or lower the desk, it would move or swing unintentionally again. This one, on the other hand, has straightforward adjustment screws in all the key places and just holds the monitor very well at a price I consider a bargain. ... show more

Seems to hold my Acer x34 ultra wide no issue, little more play extended out. Wish it had a bit more angular adjustment but it seems like the weight of the monitor makes that difficult

Have two of these, one with a 32" monitor and another with a 27". Quite sturdy, easy to adjust any which way, easy to rotate portrait vs. landscape.

Pros - Easy assembly - Good build quality - Securely holds 20+lb monitor (AOC U4308V) without issue - Included 200x100 VESA mount bracket is nice (for my use case especially!) - Easy adjustment of height, spring tension and monitor position - Built in cable routing Cons - None Other Thoughts I bought this mount/arm to replace a dual 32" (inch) monitor arm/mount I was using. I moved my secondary 32" (inch) monitor onto its included stand and I wanted something that would be tall enough and could handle the weight of a heavy 43" (inch) 4K monitor (the AOC U4380V). The monitor I wanted to mount supports 200x100 VESA so I liked that VIVO included an adapter in the box. With the included adapter, the overall price was comparable and in some cases cheaper than other options which required buying an adapter. Assembling the monitor arm/mount was simple and so was mounting my monitor to the VESA bracket. Once I got the arm/mount secured to my desk and placed my monitor on the arm/mount, I was easily able to adjust the height of the arm/mount on the pole and adjust the tension until I found the right setting. After adjusting, I was happy to see that it had no problems supporting the 43" (inch) panel without issue. I was able to raise and lower it as needed and take full advantage of the monitor arm/mount even though VIVO only advertises it as supporting up to a 35" (inch) monitor. My setup may be "out of spec" for what they recommend but it works just fine for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase because it works exactly as I hoped. It allows me to have much better adjustment for my monitor than the included stand and it frees up some desk space at the same time. ... show more

    • Too Weak for 27" Monitor
Installation was cumbersome but doable. Instructions were ok. The monitor stand has good range of motion, but will not hold a 27" LG flatscreen monitor in the vertical position selected. Once it gets past a "tipping point" it basically sinks to a few inches above the desk, forcing me to use a prop to hold it in the vertical position I want. Right now I'm using a box, but I'll probably cut a piece of 2x2 and put it on a small plywood base. Not recommended for larger monitors. ... show more

    • Solid Stand, Great Customer Service Experience
VESA Mount is rock solid. I had read many reviews that said this stand does not hold the weight of a 32inch monitor. I have a LG 32 inch 4K monitor weighing roughly 19lbs. This stand just holds is strongly. Challenge was it started bending to one side. Called VIVO, their customer support has always been good (based on my previous experience with them). And the technician immediately pointed out that if I have an IKEA table, they are hollow and tend to bend/cause dent and recommended to buy a weight balancing stand (iron plate, sold by vivo), and that perfectly solved the problem. so if you have a flimsy table top, that's your solution. Great Customer Service. My VESA Mount had a plastic wire management cover missing, but when I called the support, they immediately shipped me the missing piece. Similarly had an issue of my stand slagging to one side due to the weight of the monitor. I would anyway purchase products from VIVO knowing very well that I will get good customer support from them. ... show more
