I have an old drafting table top I got for free in college and I had put hairpin legs on it but they needed to be a smidge taller if I was going to be spending so much time at my home desk these days. I decided to get this so I could vary the height depending which chair I was using and what I was doing, what kind of mood I'm in, you know, the usual. It is super easy to put together and super sturdy and very nice looking. It is easy to control the height and setting. However my table top has 2 wooden cross beams under it and this was made for a totally flat surface. I ended up putting 2x4s under the table top and installing these legs to that, and 2 scrap 2x4 squares under the center pieces (it has 2 places where the middle bar screws into the table) So all in all it was pretty easy to do but I just thought I'd let you know so you can be prepared. It wobbles slightly forward and backwards but I don't find it to be flimsy at all. Though I think the wobble can be fixed by adjusting the feet. The only thing I have to worry about now is not to use my desk to haul myself off the floor! The weight limit is 175 lbs but I don't want to push my luck. I installed the control panel slightly back so you can't see it as easily and so it's not getting bumped or if something spills on the desk it won't get wet. I was not sure if this desk would work with my butcher block without drilling any holes, but it's perfect. It has little silicone or rubber bumpers that hold it in place without easily shifting. I was able to affix the button controls to the frame with a couple of command hooks so it's entirely independent of the butcher block. I do wish it was able to go a bit lower as well. The standing height is perfect, but I like to use it with an exercise ball sometimes and it's just a tad high for that on the lowest setting. The quality is great, it was easy to assemble, it looks beautiful in my space and it's super quiet, plus it's very sturdy at all heights and when going up or down. Nothing shakes even though the butcher block isn't even attached. I would purchase this again without a doubt! ... show more

Since working from home, I have been contemplating buying a standing desk but I loved my butcher block table top so I have put it off.. until now! I ordered these legs in order to keep my custom block top and it worked perfectly. I was worried about the weight because I have a fairly heavy butcher block 4 ft top but so far the single motor works fine with it. I just ordered a second set of legs for my spouse to use with her 6 ft Ikea table top. So far I am very pleased with the product. It took me about 15-20 minutes to assemble. It has a sleek look yet feels heavy, sturdy and hopefully it will last me a long time. The media could not be loaded. I have back issues and have been trying to stand more. I have a nice size 6ft meeting room table that I didn't really want to give up for a sit to stand desk. I was also concerned how well this would work for me as I'm only 5'2". This works really well. My husband had no issues applying this frame in lieu of the existing table legs. The motion up and down is really smooth. Even though I'm short, I found that raising it to preset level 3 and then lowering it back down 3-4 inches is the perfect height for me. I've had it for a couple of months now and I raise it up and down multiple times a day at least three days a week and have no issues I am really pleased with this frame. ... show more

Exactly as advertised, mounted this to a 74 x 30 butcher block counter top, very heavy. Install was a breeze and the components and motor mechanism are very sturdy. Thought I would need to create extensions to carry the support put to the edges, but wasn’t necessary, the stock frame is plenty to support something this size and weight. ... show more

At standard height, the desk will feel sturdy. But at its max height, the desk WILL feel a little wobbly. Adjustability is good. Easy to assemble. Quiet motor. But for the price, I wish it has 4 legs.

Owned this for about 3 months now. Installed it on a 60" desktop. Assembly and installation was pretty straightforward, no problems, and the instructions were fine. Been working fine ever since. FWIW my monitors (3 x 27") and monitor stand are all pretty heavy, but it seems to be supporting it pretty well. The cross-framing does bow slightly because all of the weight is on the center/back of my desktop, but so far it seems to be holding fine. Not sure I'd want to add much more, though. ... show more
