My office table is shallow, not deep enough so my monitor is too close to my eyes. With this stand, I can place the monitor further away and adjust the height of the monitor. In fact, the standard can be mounted with 90 degree rotation so the monitor can be placed even further away from the eyes. Also the valuable space below the stand can be utilized as well as it footprint is very small ~ 18.5cm in diameter Very sturdy stand.

Bought two of them, for laptop and monitor, I love the fact the height is adjustable so I can put my laptop higher than the monitor base, these things are very sturdy, love the self adhesive pad to prevent the monitor/laptop moves out of place, so far very happy! Very nice product

As a clamp-on, I expected it to line up with the desk edge. The top plate extends past the desk edge. Only buy if your desk isn't next to a wall. Otherwise the product is sturdy and well built.
