This stand-up desktop works great. I have a dual monitor set up and it is very sturdy and plenty wide for my two curved monitors. As soon as I want to work standing up, I just push the button and it elevates. I want to work sitting down, I just push the button again and it goes back to its lower position. But even the lower position is a superior design for a desktop. It effectively adds a second level to the desktop in the lowered position, so I have more room for my stuff. I already had a nice shabby chic desk with drawers and a cabinet in the desk for electronics, and didn't want to lose those conveniences. So this white stand-up desktop is the perfect solution.     • I'm not one to write many reviews. But I had to get this off my chest about THIS desk.

This desk is a big deal to me. I work at my desk a lot since I'm self-employed and work from home. So, because I sit a lot my left ankle and foot seem to swell up because of all the sitting. So, I went to the doctor and had everything looked at, scanned, tested and poked and good news - I'm totally healthy. But, I sit too much since I'm on the computer for several hours each day and that's not good for legs, ankles and feet because of the lack of circulation. So, I researched a ton of desks and THIS ONE is the one I picked. I looked into free standing desks that were hundreds of dollars and pretty poorly made as well. Plus, I looked into stand up desk converters because I already have a good desk and did not want to get rid of it if I did not have too. I'm sooo glad I looked into them. Because I found this one from VIVO and It comes with a three year warranty. Do you know how big of a deal that is? Most anything made with electronics in it has at most a 90 day warranty. But this company gives you 3 years - that's important to me for sure. Because it tells me that this company believes in their product. Not to mention, it was super easy to setup and using it is a breeze as well. I just wanted to share my story and also tell you that now having this desk I only sit for 20 to 30 minutes at most and then stand for 20 to 30 minutes and do that all day, each day while I'm working. Granted, you can stand all day if you want too. I just prefer to do it my way to get more circulation. ;-) Plus, It has made a huge difference in my life because now my left foot and ankle are not swelling up like they use to. So, thank you VIVO for making a great product and hope this review helps some people out who may be on the fence on which standing desk to purchase. Because without a standing desk if you decide to stand while working you're going to have to keep bending over to type and use the mouse and THAT's going to open you up to back problems and who wants that? So, make the smart choice and invest in yourself and get the best standing desk on Amazon and that's this VIVO Stand Up Desk Converter Workstation. I researched for months before buying for my work computer.... This was by far the best buy with the options/price and I don't regret the few extra bucks for the automated hydraulic lift. The lift isn't speedy but I don't need my monitors launched to the moon either so it's great for standing, the perfect height unless you're like 7ft but at 5'9" the tallest setting and a normal height older desk is a touch too tall. I would buy this over again if I had to do it again and I recommend to everyone. The size is perfect for my twin 27" curved monitors and I like the phone tray feature. the keyboard/mouse tray fits my larger format keyboard well and the only downside is the 3/4" height added when it's all the way down if you sit lower but otherwise totally worth it and it's very sturdy. ... show more

My 16 year old son out this together in less than 30 mins, and we left the feet extension off so it’d fit on my desktop better. No issues at all. The motor is incredible —smooth with no wobbling at all with my huge monitor.! I was worried that there would be too much “counter space” for a home office, but I actually love having the extra room. I work with computer support all day so I had to spend a huge amount of time sitting in a chair. Since I got this desk, I have only sat down when I am tired. Don't tell anyone but during conference calls, I dance around, walk in place, and generally move around. I love it. The desk is well made. I have a large ergonomic keyboard so I ordered the larger version. Glad I did. It has plenty of room for my laptop, an additional monitor and some other items. There would be room for a second monitor if I wanted to add one. 7/16: I still love it. There is plenty of room for my keyboard and mouse, it is steady, and, best of all, it is still VERY comfortable to use. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy an electric stand-up desk because I'm afraid of the motor going out. But the price difference at the time was minimal, so I gave it a shot. I like the electric as it does not feel like it wiggles as much when you raise and lower it. I can actually leave my water cup on the desk while raising and lowering, not that I recommend that but you get the idea. It was easy to put together, but I am glad I measured my desk prior to ordering it as it fits snugly without overhang. It does weigh a bit and is a little awkward to flip over, so might be good to do with second person if you have any doubts. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase. Time will tell on the motor, but I'm not to worried about it now. ... show more
