Climbing rope was always one of my favorite gym activities in elementary school so it was no problem or fear climbing a rope at the cross fit gym. But with covid and gym closures there was no way to do this at home. Using a static line of 13mm from my rock climbing gear is not the same and too difficult since there is no braided coil going up and not thick enough for a gripping with your hands. This victory gym rope is thick and is as heavy as those ropes in the gym. The rope already has a spliced and sealed loop at the end so I used a locking carabiner that was rated for climbing and attached to a branch up high. I was also able to take this to a playground and throw over a high swing set and climb up and down at the park. No worries about catching germs from the gym rope now that I have my own at home for use! ... show more

Great climbing rope. My 9 yr old lives ninja and wanted a rope for our tall playset to practice rope climbing. Great quality rope.
