Replacing the light on my sewing machine didn't mean - replace the bulb. It meant a new part from a place faraway for quite a bit of money. This light does the job as well as or perhaps, better than, the machines own light.

I absolutely love this little craft & sewing light. The size makes it perfect to take to sewing classes where the lighting isn't very good. It's great because it works in a cordless manner with an internal battery. It can be plugged in different ways to re-charge. The Velcro attachment makes it super easy to fit on the side of my sewing machine. Or, it can sit beside the machine and not take up too much room. It's also wonderful to use when you need a little extra light to cut out small pieces or work on other types of craft projects. The flexible neck lets you adjust it to any direction or position. I used it the other day when cleaning out the bobbin case area of my sewing machine and it allowed me to easily see some tiny pieces of thread caught up in there. I purchased three more as gifts for sewing buddies. It has become one of my favorite sewing accessories. You won't be disappointed if you buy it.

Truly a really good replacement for my machine's bulb, which went out and evidently cannot be replaced as my dealer cannot seem to get replacements from their warehouses due to pandemic shipping and supply issues. I'm an avid sewer and prefer lots of light and the ability to put it right where I need it is helpful. Recharge times seem to be pretty far between given how much time I spend at the machine when I'm sewing. Very good purchase on my part.
