Pros: Well-designed product. We bought this for indoor use and the curved lines of the wood makes it an attractive centerpiece. The compact design does not take up as much space as other hammock stands I've seen for sale. The wood feels robust and sturdy. Unlike other reviewers, I found it easy to assemble (once I had all the parts). The company has very responsive Customer Service and quickly sent out necessary replacement parts. Cons: The package I received was missing multiple parts, including one of the main Y-shaped pieces at the top. The bottom support beams that I received were mistakenly countersunk on the bottom, making it necessary to purchase a new set of bolts and nuts from my local Home Depot to get the correct fit. An easy enough fix, but more time and money spent. As for the hammock itself, I can't imagine it holding up over time. The fabric body is thin and the support ropes appear very cheap. Given the friction points caused by the unique design of this stand, I would have liked to see more thought given to the materials of the hammock. Conclusion: I recommend the hammock stand itself. I love the design and affordable price of the product. YMMV with respect to the out-of-the-box ease of assembly. If you are brand new to hammocks, the one that comes with this stand may suit your needs just fine. However, if you've owned well-made hammocks at other times in your life, you may be disappointed with the quality here. Assembly instructions could have been a little more detailed but was not hard to figure out that is why I did not take away any stars. Hammock is great quality easily fits two adults and the wooden base is beautiful and sturdy. I love relaxing in this!

If you are a small adult, you kinda get folded up in the hammock. Look for a wide outdoor pillow to keep it open more. These are hard to find.

Good looking hammock, works as advertised and the comfort level is what you can expect from a hammock. However the assembly was a pain in the neck, the holes didn't line up properly so I had to re-drill the holes to be able to put all parts of the stand together. Really nice hammock! For anyone wondering, if you think you have the wrong parts/screws, make sure you assembled it right! I contacted them thinking i received the wrong part but it was just because I assembled one part wrong, make sure to watch video carefully!

This is a nicely designed, space-saving wooden frame, but the hardware it comes with is complete garbage and the company apparently never heard the words quality control. There were 2 missing nuts, 1 missing washer, and the remaining nuts and bolts and screws are very low quality. Two of them stripped when I tried to tighten them. I replaced all of it with stainless hardware which was inconvenient and expensive. The stain is uneven which I corrected by sealing the entire thing with tung oil, the cutouts for the top supports weren't straight, and even the nameplate was attached crookedly... Collectively this says everything you need to know about their lack of quality. The hammock itself is okay, but without spreader bars it's more of a cocoon than I like, and not nearly sturdy enough for two adults. I plan to replace that with a rope hammock that includes spreader bars in the near future. Can't really fault the hammock's quality, just got fooled by the photo thinking it was a better design. All-in-all, the frame design is great, but that's about it. I would have returned it if anyone else had this space-saving design but since I cannot find any alternatives so I'll live with what I've got. Someone who actually understands how to build things properly needs to replicate this design and sell something like I ultimately ended up with, you know, one that's properly designed, comes with good hardware, and is sealed against the weather correctly. ... show more

*one year later Well was about to us the hammock and found a ton of large cracks on the wood frame. I’m worried to even use it now. We used it under cover all summer and loved it. I thought I’d get more then a year out of it. I’d return if I could. It was under cover half the year and in the weather the other half. Save your money and buy a nicer stand, absolutely won’t buy from this company again, cheap junk. So far a month of use and doing well. Box and packaging could be sturdier, was surprised there wasn’t damage to the frame. The bag of hardware inside exploded and was splashing around every time the box was turned, was surprised there wasn’t more scratches on the frame and that all pieces were accounted for. Other then that it was a good experience with quicker than expected delivery and a fairly easy build. Built with an extra set of hands and a couple socket wrenches made it pretty easy to get everything in place and adjust the fit. Will be a bit tougher on your own with the tools provided but not hard. The hammock fits us well, one at a time at least as we are all over 200# and is very comfortable swinging gently in the breeze. Pretty easy to get in and out. Was a great price and looks nice. I’d buy it again for sure so far. ... show more
