i was desperate to find something that would allow my mother to get out of bed and into her wheelchair for more than a few minutes each day. that's what prompted me to get this in the first place. the materials used to make this are just fine. i didn't find any defects or issues at all. it is pretty straight forward as to putting in the wheelchair and took me about five minutes start to finish. my mother for one had issues with pressure points on her arm rests. this does have sufficient padding in those areas to make it more comfortable. as to the seat and back areas there just isn't enough there to do much at all. i ended up supplementing this with a couple gel pads also purchased on amazon. with those in place she was comfortable in her chair but ONLY because of the extra pair of pads. if you get this as designed and made i doubt most will find any improvement as to wheelchair comfort. if however you get this and combine with simple square gel pads it can make a world of difference. if this had been made with better pads, cushioning i would have given it five stars but as made and with the short comings noted it's just okay at best.

Nice fabric, soft padding( was ok). I reversed the seating pad after a few rides. I found that the back pad was slouching. Now I can fold the extra padding as a small head rest when needed. Works great and looks nice

Easy and could be thicker padded. Not as padded as it looked. For the money it could be made better. The arm pieces slide around so be careful holding them when you get up. I dont use them. Helps to put a thin square pillow under pad for softer seating. Id look at others first.
