I love this walker. I bought it for my dad when we were traveling. It folds compactly. We wrapped it in bubble wrap and checked it one the plane. It was prioritized like a stroller so we found it in a different part of baggage claim. It was light weight and convenient. Fast forward I had knee surgery. I am 5’ 10” and it is a comfortable height for me. I have a walker from the hospital on one floor and this one on the second floor. They are equally stable and work well for me.

It's very light and easy to handle and fold and lift (7 lbs). My only regret is that the wheels don't turn. It makes it difficult to turn when walking.

This is the best walker I have ever had, and I've had many. The folding mechanism is amazing; I don't need to use my thumbs. Likewise the opening system is great. My favorite feature is that when it closes, it is compact and can stand on it's own. Great for restaurants and other tight places. Plus, it's a great color. UPDATE: one slider ski foot broke after relativey minor use for 2 months. It was impossible to find a replacement ski (the fit is unique). Vive just informed me that the replacements won't be available until Jan 30, 2026. Beware.

I like this walker a lot. It's lightweight, folds easily, and looks as non-institutional as a walker can look. My two favorite things about it is #1 its ability to stand when folded, and #2 you can easily shrink the width temporarily, to go through narrow spaces. It does everything I need. However, I took off one star because it doesn't do something I want. I want to add a bag, or something to carry things. But because the bars go in a cross, there's nowhere to attach a carry bag or platform of some sort.

I have an upright walker. I have a standard folding walker that I made a table top for. I have walking sticks for balance and I have a sturdy folding grocery cart on wheels. But, I HAD NOTHING I COULD SIMPLY FOLD UP INTO A SMALL COLUMN THAT WAS STURDY ENOUGH TO GET ME WHERE I NEEDED TO GO, LIKE MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS AND HAIR APPOINTMENTS, THAT COULD EASILY BE MOVED IN AND OUT OF MY CAR. NOW I HAVE EXACTLY THAT. I wish I had discovered this a long time ago. it is light in weight but very stable and it really does fold into a column as small as in the picture. It also can stand independently when folded, It collapses by using a small lever. I'm still getting used to using the lever, but it works as it should. I use the upright walker at home but it is too cumbersome for me to load into and out of the car. I use the standard walker as a rolling table but I have to disassemble it to use it outside of my home. I've been using the grocery cart to get to and from my car but it is also awkward to get in and out of the car. The walking sticks are okay but using them is slow going and tiring. The Vive collapsible walker feels like a miracle. It takes so little room folded that I can store it in a small space between a bookcase and a cabinet when I'm home. All I have to do is grab it, unlock it with the lever to open it and I'm ready to go. It really is a miracle.

This walker is great! I use two of them in the house ,one downstairs,one upstairs to get through those tight spaces we all have. Simply release the lock in position and pull the handles nward to make the walker more narrow while still performing and always giving you secure contact with the floor.Oh yeah, it works great outdoors as well( alot less furniture and stuff to maneuver around) and the walker is very light weight making it very user friendly.

Far superior to a traditional walker for someone who still maintains some mobility. Very light and folds very small and stands by itself when folded. My wife uses this for distance walking and loves it. Looks much less clunky than a traditional walker particularly for a younger person who wants that. Easy to throw in the backseat because of how it folds. Absolutely love.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have several walkers that are using in the house, but they are rather heavy and bulky and I was looking for something that I could put in my car and take out with ease. This is it. It is perfect. It is lightweight. It goes easily into the car. It comes out out of the car easily and it opens up easily and that's the whole point of having this worker is that it is very easy.
