This cotton ribbon is so attractive. The weave is fairly tight and it has a linen like look, it is also very soft to the touch and flexible. Just a small amount of fringe on the edges which seems perfectly proportioned to the size of the ribbon. Having the ribbon wrapped on wooden spools makes it an attractive decorative element to leave out in my craft room. These are beautiful ribbons for wrapping gifts. They have a soft hand feel and the "silk-like chiffon material" has a lovely fringe, which makes it feel special. Someone was angry that it said silk and it's polyester. However, if you read the entire description, including the chart lower on the page, it clearly says poly. Chiffon is a weave, not fabric content, so it's light and easy to tie. It drapes nicely and makes a statement when used with the right wrapping materials. The colors chosen in this palette are very functional and coordinate well with just about everything. They're very delicate and lightweight and give a very polished look to everything. I've used it for as trim and it gives a generous amount on each roll and I have not run out yet. I would gladly order from this company again, especially considering I ordered another color palette and it's equally lovely and impressive! The is more than fair, especially considering craft store prices nowadays.
