A professional told me when looking for a quality dog food to checkout the first 5 ingredients. Protein should be your main concern. In Dr. Marty’s NATURES BLEND, the first SEVEN ingredients are protein!! My picky toy poodle amazingly likes this food. I have tried many different dog foods trying to discover one that is not only good for my dog’s health and well being but also something she likes. I also like that it can be served as is or moistened. It’s a bit pricy, but I feel like the quality is worth it. The only down sides are it does have a little bit of a strong fragrance, but not enough to make me not want to buy it again and the bags are small, only 16 oz. This is a great meal topper for my dog I sprinkle it on his food and he loves it. I think the bag lasts a long time as long as you break it up and sprinkle it. It is soft so it’s easy to sprinkle it. The ingredients are great and have never caused my dog diarrhea. The size also I think is great if you mix it up with broth. My dog loves the taste he seems to only like this brand which is a bummer since it’s not really sold in stores. ... show more

My dog really enjoys this dog food. Since it is on the expensive side, I combine it with his previous kibble half-and-half. I think he is healthier. He likes the taste and does not cause any issues with his digestive system. My dog is a senior, 12 years old, no one can believe that he is that old. When the weather is rainy for an extended period he gets a little ouchy in his rear legs. This usually diminishes after the weather gets nicer. ... show more

I think I have the most finicky dogs in the world but they do love this food I mix it in with her hard kibble and they eat it up they seem to have more energy I'm on my second bag and I have different types of little breed dogs I have a weenie dog a poodle and Jack russells and it works amazing for all of them ... show more

Healthy dog food! Price is not a problem because I have a 4.5lb Chihuahua. I feed him 3 small meals per day. I buy 1 bag per month. I did locate a different brand, Primal, at a local Feed store. Same raw food, size of bag same, price is $14.00 LESS than this brand. I will probably switch to Primal because I can easily purchase locally and the added savings is great. I did receive 2 bags of Marty's that seemed "stale" yet the sell buy date reflected the bags had many months left until past due. And, I have purchased more than 2 bags of Marty's, so it was easy to notice the difference. If you have a little dog, the price isn't too bad. But, if you have a dog larger than 4.5lbs...this will be quite expensive, unless you feed another brand and mix in the Marty's. 3 stars ONLY because of the price ... show more

It smells so bad!! Lol but my PICKY, toothless, sensitive to texture, chihuahua LOVES it!!! It satisfies her craving for something other than mush!! It smells like the cat food that she tries to steal from the barn cats lol...shes in heaven!! Normally ginger will even skip days of eating if shes bored with food...but today she kept begging for more!! Shes tiny too..only 5 lbs...and barely got all of her teeth removed 3 weeks ago....i didnt even have to wet this for her!!! Thank you!!! Buy it!! Hope my review helps someone else with a tiny toothless wonder!! P.s. i think ginger should be your "spokesdog" ... show more
