These raw meal toppers are great. My cats LOVE them. These helped transition my picky cats to an all-wet food diet. I break these up and put them on top of their wet food, and sometimes I spit them in half and give them to my cats as treats. The package arrived on time and intact. First, Amazon does not allow returns on this item! I regularly use other toppers from this brand with no issue, however these the cats got sick from it. I gave the toppers a try twice. The first time I assumed there would be no issue as they regularly have had toppers from Instinct for about 3 -4 years now so I crumbled 2 each on their wet food. The cat that never gets sick threw it all up and second was fine. Next day I gave the cat that got sick just one and other one got two. Both threw it up. They are not super sensitive cats and don't get sick that often. Their wet food was the same. I am guessing the difference with these is the added vitamins as the other varieties of Instinct toppers were never a problem. ... show more

Personally, I am ecstatic that this product has been so well received. My purchase was delivered Friday, 6.23.2023, and had to give my cats a taste test right away. Everyone of them (12) didn't hesitate to eat up the particles which I set out for them as I would treats. The large pellet had to be broken down because they would only stiff at it. However, once smashed they devoured it. The significance of this purchase is that I have an elderly kitty, who needs healthier food with vitamins. And, one of the outdoor feral cats has a skin condition which I can't touch because he will not allow me to touch him. So, this product is great because it is packed with amazing nutrients. The product is expensive, especially considering I am caring for more than 2 cats. But, I will be purchasing more, because I would like to see if the product will help my senior cat and will improve the feral kitty's skin condition. My cat threw up for an hour after eating this stuff. I would have included a video but I figured it wouldn’t be pleasant to watch. He’s an indoor cat so no outside influences. My poor cat was so sick. This company should be shut down. Their food is inhumane!

I feed my cat Instinct brand cat food with these same freeze dried raw meat chunks in there. I buy these for when I get to the end of the bag of cat food and these little add ins are mostly gone. They make a great treat for your cat as well. Cats need meat, and this freeze dried product is a great product that is shelf stable. Nothing but meat. No grains or fillers. ... show more
