I bought this comforter to replace an old lightweight Tommy Bahama comforter that had served me well for over 5 years. While lightweight it was probably in the ballpark of 1.5x the weight of my other comforter. This was fine for me as I live in Colorado and our nights and winters are on the cold side anyway. I bought this for my son, thinking it was a heavier weight comforter. Much to my suprise, it was lightweight, yet keeps the cold out. The material was very soft and the color is a nice blue. So many materials have odors today, and this comforter had none. I would buy again for that reason alone.

It is thin, but very very warm. Our son cuddles in it at night along with his blankets but really just loves this one as it is soft, and comfortable. The feathers I thought might poke through, but not really. They are very small anyways. only one has poked through in the last week we have had it. It’s not super thick or plush, but it’s so soft and the right warmth and weight. My wife bought me one for my semi and I ordered one for our bed and she loves it also, heck the dog loves it, runs inside and gets right under it.
