This VR kit is a really fun way for kids to explore and learn. The experiences are engaging, and the book adds an educational element to go along with the virtual reality. The headset works well with a phone, though it takes a little setup and adjusting to get it just right. Once running, it’s very immersive and entertaining. Great for curious kids who love interactive learning. Wish the books were available for sale. Independent of the goggles on Amazon so I could buy more just don’t need thousands of pairs of goggles. Also, the QR code in the box sometimes hard to find.

My son had fun with this. He had fun with the VR, building the car, and the book. He thought it was easy to use. This is entertaining and educational. The book has so much information. It's a good value because it's immersive and includes a few different activities. A kid can play with this for many hours. The illustrations are well done and detailed. The function is as expected.

When this arrived, my grandson was so very excited to use it. But the setup takes longer than your typical 8-year-old is willing to wait around for. I had to download the app that seems rather large because even ofer wifi it took a very long time to install. I had a hard time finding the code that was included to activate this kit. And then when I finally got everything set up, my grandson found the goggles uncomfortable. However, he loved the book that was included and has read through it many, many times.

I can’t say enough good things about the Abacus Brands VR Transport Kit! This set offers hours of interactive fun and learning for kids and adults alike. From the moment we opened the box, we were captivated by the “high-quality” materials and engaging design. The interactive book is nicely illustrated and packed with details about the evolution of transportation, from ancient times to futuristic concepts. The wooden 3D pull-back race car puzzle was a huge hit, 9 year old needed some help—it adds a hands-on element that makes for more fun! The VR goggles are easy to set up and compatible with most smartphones, bringing the content to life in an immersive way. My kids were thrilled to feel like they were zooming through time and space, exploring planes, trains, tanks, and even rockets!

Functionality: The app doesn't work so the nice VR headset is kinda useless. The app includes many other versions but not the transportation. My 10 year old son enjoyed building the car, but the entire point of this kit is to use the VR and feel like you are driving different vehicles. The book is cool, but I can't recommend the kit. Leaves a child very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. This virtual reality discovery box focused on transportation is so fun! I ordered it for my 7-year-old, and she thinks it’s absolutely awesome. It comes with a DK learning book (which I love — we’ve collected a few of these) and it covers everything from jets to hot air balloons, trains, cars, helicopters… you name it. 🚂✈️🚗 Pros & Cons: 👍 High-quality book that’s super engaging 👍 VR goggles are easy to use and really immersive 👍 20 different scenes to explore — not just a game, it’s actual learning! 👍 Great gift for curious kids ages 6–8 👎 Haven’t tried the 3D puzzle yet — but it’s a fun bonus! I homeschool my daughter, so I am always looking for ways to make things fun and educational. This looked really cool, so we were excited to try it out. The device is super easy to use with your phone after you download the app. It came with a model my daughter could build, and most of the pages have a VR interaction that brings the reading to life. I really like that there are more packages we can buy on the app. We will be doing more of these for sure.
