First pic is at dusk, along with a photo of the actual brightness outside followed. 3rd pic is fully dark. I just purchased today but overall I’m super impressed! Talking points : 1.super easy to set up. Took 5 mins to go through the app, and maybe 15 to install but I also installed a solar panel at the same time along with zip tying the extra cord. 2. 2 yr extended warranty through their app! 3. You can add more than one account. After you make your account your S/O or family member can make their own, you just have to hit “share”, put in their info and they can also view the camera. So simple to do. 4. Sound coming in seems to be great. 5. If you want to opt for the cloud storage you can for $2-$3 a month depending on how long you want the cloud to store. 6. I included a pic of the motion zone part of the app. Pretty versatile and you can add more than one area 7. (Solar panel) with the solar panel and me putting it up late at night, my battery was at 53% when I got it and I put it up maybe an hour before dark and it charged it more than 10%! Very happy with having that and not having to worry about charging it. Cons: We kept getting connectivity issues when installing, and actually had to move our Wi-Fi router closer. It has to be within a certain range I’m sure. Since moving the router we haven’t had a single issue. But for someone with a larger house, or issues with wifi range it might be a little more difficult. 2.the delay is roughly 2 seconds. For someone using this for 2-way talk that may get frustrating. But for it being on Wi-Fi that’s not too bad of a delay imo. Overall, I’m mad I didn’t buy this sooner. I began looking for security cameras that I could access via internet with cloud storage and assumed I would be paying thousands but surprisingly I found this camera for under $50. I expected it to be trash but it’s actually very good and I ordered a second. It has infrared, high def (resolution adjustable) and sound. It connects to 3G WiFi so it actually uses very little bandwidth. I can stream movies, game and my kids can bog down the network and the camera still connects instantly via the app. For $2 a month you can have 30 day cloud storage which is useful combined with the motion detection feature. The app is easy to use and I just found out these cameras connect to my Alexa screen so I can always have the camera feed going or set it up to show the feed when motion is detected. The battery lasts about 45 days on average in the summer and around 30 during the winter. I’m going to buy a few more as backups in case they’re damaged by the local two legged wildlife. ... show more

It has been a week and this camera works great. It was simple to setup, picture quality is great, motion detection is great and battery life is OUTSTANDING. I've had it at the highest detection setting recording the most time after detection for a week and it is still at 89% battery. This camera would not be good for direct sunlight, the housing isn't made for it. Nor would it be good for direct weather like out in the rain. I would like to be able to plug it in without modifying the housing but that wouldn't be easy to do. I would also like to be able to have more configuration options for recording length and retention. I'm still unsure if all video is captured on the sd card, but it works on their cloud very well. I also suspect it phones home, but it can't be that much because the battery isn't running down. For the price point and what you get, this was a great purchase. ... show more

I haven't put a memory card into it yet, but even without using a memory card I love this camera. Everything works very well. It didn't work at first connecting to my internet very well and after I re inputted the information it has worked fine ever since. I love that I can check on my house and my dogs while I'm away, I love that I can talk through it if I need to talk to my son . The cloud works very well, and the battery doesn't drain too fast Good image quality, I wouldn't go so far as to call it excellent, but I also am judging off of the 10-second clips I see on the cloud as opposed to the memory card. Update: once stationary on my house the connectivity greatly improved. The one by my front door doesn’t hold a charge well due to the frequent trigger from passing vehicles regardless of setting a zone that excludes the e street. I would also add that the customer service for this company is fantastic. They contacted me after my initial review to offer a full refund no questions asked. I bought 3 of these to use as outdoor security cams. The picture is really clear, and they were very easy to set up, but I am really disappointed with the wifi connectivity. The connection is really unreliable, and will not allow me to view a live feed. If you plan to use them outside, I’d recommend looking for a different product. ... show more

9/28/23 - the seller contacted me within 24 hours of this review. They immediately sent a replacement camera. I am very impressed by the level of customer service. Adding stars. The product only worked for 3 days. Now, despite showing a strong connection on the app, it will not connect to the live feed. It gives a weak connection error. Even when placed within 2-3 feet of the router it still does not work. For the extremely short time it did work, the picture quality was excellent. However, it’s not a reliable product. ... show more
