    • Need better instruction for beginners
I ordered thinking it was a great way to learn embroidery. It had everything you needed. However, the instructions for a beginner were very sparse. Ended up going online checking out videos on the learning embroidery.

It's cool, but the instructions are given is just one page of a few stitches and there are is no QR code that has videos showing how to do every single stitch offered. Also you need a hoop smaller than the one given to be able to do each pattern correctly with the fabric pulled tight since the fabric is a rectangular shape not square. I would recommend the beginner kits from Samesuit or Cyanfour 4 stage both of those have great instructions and links to videos. ... show more

    • Really packed embroidery kit
Overall, this is a pretty decent kit, especially at this price point. I was impressed by how much was included. It's always super helpful to have a small kit with needles and assorted threads, pins, etc. I have one already that I like, but decided to keep this one in my car and it's already come in handy more than once. The stitch sample book is pretty neat. I like the variety of included designs and it's definitely a great project for getting started and learning. I do wish that the designs weren't already transferred on - I had hoped to use the book to do a couple of different things in my own style, and that won't work with the way this is set up. That said, it's still a great beginner kit and I'm happy I ordered it. ... show more
