Description
Original Milwaukee Location. In the early 1980's four friends were looking for opportunities to attract customers to their south side Milwaukee tavern. One had read an article about the growing popularity of darts and they decided to outfit their tavern for dart throwing. Eventually dart leagues were formed after they were able to persuade other barkeepers to place dart boards for competitions. Darting became popular enough that customers began coming to them for supplies. The friends invested $100 for inventory and GLD Products began. The company has since thrived, outgrowing three locations before calling it’s current Muskego, WI location home in 1993. Bought this cue for my 15 year old nephew who is getting into pool. He plays soccer and many other sports but is now getting into pool. I've been playing for 35 years and have had a table since I was 19. This cue came as advertised. Nice quality construction with no defects, good wood, straight and true, with style. The 19oz is a good beginner cue and seems to be good quality so far. Nothing wrong with this purchase. I would personally recommend the 20 or 21 oz weight as a veteran pool player but for a beginner/novice you can't beat this cue for the price.

Good pool cue - great price

The first cue that was sent to me, had defective inlays which made the lower handle a bit unsightly. I asked for a replacement which was delivered in 2 days. The replacement was perfect. I like the look and feel of this cue. The tip is a bit on the hard side but if you are not into spin, then this cue shoots nice and straight. I recommend it.

Alright for the money

Buying a pool cue site unseen is always a crap shoot because you have no idea of the quality you are going to get. These cues are better than the sticks you get with most pool table packages, and more attractive, but they have a bit of a flimsy feel to them. The design of the cue is nice and the attached tip rougher is a useful tool.

On the first day, I unpacked the parcel of the smart guy and checked it for evenness and to my surprise, it was perfectly smooth, I tried to play, and very good game qualities, a high-quality not hard not soft tip, slides like an extension of the hand.
