I purchased this at a discount, and for the price, it exceeded my expectations. Once assembled, it’s surprisingly sturdy and stable. The box is also relatively lightweight considering the overall size of the unit. One of the best features is its modular design. I didn’t follow the suggested layout and was able to customize it to better fit my space and storage needs. That flexibility makes it a very versatile organizer. My only minor complaint is the height. I have high ceilings, so I would have liked it to be a little taller. For most people, though, the size is probably just right. Assembly was straightforward and easy to figure out, although it took a few adjustments to get the exact configuration I wanted. I even added extra cubbies to increase storage capacity, and it handled the additional weight without any issues. Overall, it’s an excellent temporary closet solution that’s easy to move around, simple to use, and highly customizable. It completely transformed my walk-in closet and made the space feel much more organized and functional. I’d definitely recommend it.

I live in a 110 year old house, (read, very limited closet space!) so I decided to close off the end of a hallway to make a dressing room/walk-in closet. That area has yet to be remodeled with drywall & flooring, so I did not want to go to the trouble of attaching permanent shelving to the walls only to tear it down when we get to that area. Enter this Vipek free-standing closet unit. It's easy to assemble. I put it together by myself, but an extra pair of hands might have come in handy during the first few steps to stabilize things & make it go quicker. The design has legs at both the front and back, and I installed it in an "L" shape, making it very stable, so I didn't even bother with the included wall anchors. It has adjustable leveling feet for those of us whose floors are a bit uneven. The shelves are adjustable height-wise, making it easy to fit your own parameters. I had hoped to arrange it with the short shelves to one side and all the hanging space together, but the shelf measurements don't allow for that. The short shelves MUST be placed in the middle. I arranged my shelving so that a plastic 3-drawer unit fits on the bottom, making that space even more practical for my needs, and in the corner of the "L" where it's a little harder to reach, I put a collapsible hanging shelf set that attaches around the rod with velcro. Seldom-used items can hang out there until needed. Also, since I had a few inches left on one end, I used that space to slide in a shoe rack on rolling castors (also available on Amazon) which is a lovely, space-saving extra, as I can roll it in & out to view my shoes or put them away. The organization of this closet unit means I can fit a whole lot of clothing in a relatively compact amount of space and as a bonus, it stays looking much neater than my old closet space does. It's pretty sturdy, too. Nothing has bent under the weight of what I've put on there, and I have boxes stacked on the top shelf since my ceilings are high enough to accomodate that. This organizer has been in service for over a year now, and I like it so much that I've decided that, even after remodeling, I will put this unit back in the space rather than attaching shelving to the walls.

If you’re a woman trying to do this alone this is PERFECT! 💖💖💖 I love this closet, it has a lot of space and fit perfectly in my room corner ! 🥰👏🏻 super easy to assemble , and I believe that for the price your paying it’s GREAT!!!! Very affordable and great option for sure! As well as it being very sturdy, I’m not gonna lie when I first started putting it up, it made me feel uneasy about the sturdiness , until I got done, I was entirely wrong very very sturdy, it also comes with a wall holder in case it tilts but tbh , I’ve packed it up and have absolutely no tilting issues.

A bit on the pricey side, but very happy with the purchase! I ordered two racks — this one and another style rack from the same seller. Unfortunately the other rack arrived with bent pieces; would have been super happy with a replacement, but didn’t see that option so I had to do a return. Thankfully, I did not have that problem at all with this unit — all pieces were in great conditions and shipped well. The assembly directions were also very clear and easy to follow. Additionally, once assembled I was very happy with the product — it’s sharp looking, stable and true to measurements/description. So happy with it, that I might try to reorder a new second unit as well. Highly recommend!

I am very happy with this product because it is extremely sturdy after it just put together. It took about a half hour to put it together, but it did not need any tools so that was good. I was impressed at the size of it and couldn’t wait to start hanging up clothes. It definitely is a very sturdy piece and the only thing that I can complain about is that I wish it had a little more or even just one more hanging area that was long and not cut off by any shelving. Other than that, it is a great extra piece to have. And it is actually quite attractive as long as you put the clothes on there neatly it looks very, very pretty. Thank you for selling such a nice product.! Definitely worth price. And it’s nice that it can be split up. If you decide you don’t want it as long as it is.

The seller is wonderful; really helped when my package got stolen. The unit itself is amazing. I added pictures. My new rental did not have a closet rod for long dresses and skirts, so I needed something for those. This was a great solution. It keeps all my long clothes organized, and helps me stack my lingerie. The top shelves I used for purses, and I used the center piece for my shoes. My tall boots fit on top and bottom, too! The only thing it needed was a rack to hold my next day's clothes on, and my belts, too. I added that piece from another shelving unit and voila! You can see my belts on the left side of the unit in 1 of the pics. I loved that I could change the layout of it to meet my needs. In this case I needed the L-shape, but my next house may not. You can see I have a lot of clothes, which means heavy, and the unit is holding up well 2 months into ownership. Well worth every penny!

I bought this because our closetmaid shelves were pulling the drywall away from the studs and I could not find supports that properly held the shelves. I also needed something sturdier than the current shelves. The VIPEK V50i Extra Large Portable Closet Rack works wonderfully. It is sturdy, fits the space nicely and has given me additional shelving options than I had previously. I would highly recommend it for anyone trying to organize their closet without spending a lot of money. The only downside to the shelves is that if you have 2 poles stacked for hanging dress shirts, you will find that the tails of the shirts will fold. Basically, there isn't enough room to hang dress shirts above/below each other without some overhang of the tails of the shirt. It did not stop me from hanging shirts there but for a picky person, this may be an issue. There are other places to hang dress shirts if this were an issue. Once I loaded it up with clothing, my inner Marie Kondo was very satisfied!
