    • Nifty lil accessory for your Switch!
Color: Blue and Gold
My son plays Fortnite on his Nintendo Switch and insisted he "needed" headphones with a mic to assist in playing successfully (LOL). I find that the brand name electronic accessories often work better and are of higher quality and these did not disappoint! We picked the Zelda ones since they were my sons favorite color and they happened to be the cheapest option color. They work great and he loves them! ... show more

    • Kids love that it's Nintendo Scheme and they are really not bad!
Color: Blue & Red
Priced right for the quality. branding keeps kids happy, he can now zoom and play without disconnecting like we had with Bluetooth headset before. The volume control tool on the ear cup took our 8 year old a few seconds to master and the headset has a full range of volume if needed to be loud. My opinion as an adult with background in music recordings and live shows is that the audio quality is not perfect but it's also not the worst i ever heard from a budget headset. Overall sound is nice, clear and flat. Bass is not overbearing and because of the smaller 40mm driver the bass is more stiff and plastic sounding, by all means this headset sounds very decent and more than serves it's purpose. I have tested it with both our Samsung S6 Tab lite and with a PC computer using a Y-splitter and they work great. Mic is nice and clear and because the boom is 6" it is plenty long to reach around the face. No need to put the mic on your mouth it is plenty sensitive at 2" to 3" away from face. Only test now is how long it last considering my kids are fairly gentle with their electronics. ... show more

    • For some reason, the microphone won't work with my Switch unless I use an extension cable
Color: Blue & Red
EDIT: After around 6 months the microphone failed completely. I contacted PDP customer service and they sent a whole new pair which seems to have no issues. My kids have used the new pair for seveal months with no issues. I'm going to upgrade this review to 4 stars for the killer customer support and since it seems I just got a bad one before. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I suspect something is defective in the headphone jack on these; perhaps it is not machined correctly. The problem is that the mic does not work when used on my Switch. The mic works on other devices, and it even works on the switch if I plug it into an extension cable and then plug that into the Switch, but it won't work if I just plug it in directly. The headphone functionality appears to work fine on all devices. This is okay for me since I use an extension cable, but it is very peculiar behavior considering it does not seem to work well with the exact device it is targeting. Note that you have to flip the mic down in order to turn it on. This is a really neat feature because it allows you to mute just by moving the mic up. Unfortunately, it's 3-star at best given the build quality. ... show more

    • Perfect!
Color: Black & White
The PDP Gaming AIRLITE Stereo Headset has been a great choice for my son, who uses it daily for gaming. It’s lightweight and comfortable, making it ideal for long gaming sessions without causing discomfort. The sound quality is clear, with decent bass and crisp highs, perfect for immersive gameplay on the Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite. The built-in mic is a nice touch, providing clear communication during multiplayer games. What stands out is its durability and simple, no-fuss wired connection, which works seamlessly with the Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, and OLED models. The adjustable headband ensures a secure fit, and the ear cups provide decent noise isolation, allowing him to focus on the game. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly headset that delivers great value for everyday gaming, especially for those who don’t need wireless features. ... show more

    • Sound great
Color: Black & White
I like these headphones for the audio quality. Bear in mind, I'm not an audiophile, but it sounds great to me, especially compared to most wireless headphones. I am going to give it five stars but I have suggestions for an improved version of these headphones, which would require a higher price point probably, which is why I am not taking away any stars. It would be nice if this had a wireless option, sort of like the 3D Pulse Headset for the PlayStation 5. I'm not sure if a wireless receiver is the way to go, but it sure seems like it when I compare the 3D Pulse Headset. It should still have a 3.5mm cable, like the 3D Pulse Headset does, so you can play it wired. Playing the Nintendo Switch docked basically requires getting a cheaper controller with a tradeoff (like no motion controls, wireless capabilities, or HD Rumble) just to add a 3.5mm port on the controller (Nintendo's controllers unfortunately overlooked this), so most likely, you will not be able to play with these headphones wired unless you sit close to your Switch or maybe you can buy a wire extension for the 3.5mm port. I probably should look into that. I also think it would have been nice for it come with a case. I've been storing these headphones in the original box and a case would make it easier to store. Edit: I am editing this to add that I bought the black and white Headset, and although it looks nice with the White Joy-Con, for some strange reason, they didn't make both sides white. They could still make the middle portion black, just like the Switch, and it would feel like it would match the Switch OLED Model with the White Joy-Con even more. I know it's a minor nitpick, but I thought I should mention this, in case PDP reads these reviews. Otherwise, it's a great pair of headphones! ... show more
