I have tried other brands of sandals with orthotic insoles, but Vionic is really the only brand that works for me (keeps my ankles from sagging inward, arch support, relieves pain from tarsal tunnel). I am returning the Cassandra sandals but only because of the color -- the light gray was lighter than I'd hoped and didn't really go with the dress I bought them for. (A note from experience: I have slippers, mules, ballet flats, sneakers and several style sandals, but they do not all offer the same support. The Tide II is my go-to sandal for support and comfort. I have been told that has the most support, and that some consider it too much. The Tokyo sneaker also offers more support. I have flat feet, so any shoe that does not have good support is uncomfortable and allows my ankles to roll in. I've never had sandals that have arch support before these. I wore these to a concert where we were walk, standing, and bouncing around for several hours and my feet never suffered. I bought a second pair in another color and they are just as comfortable. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and read that they're roomy, so I ordered the size 8. It was a perfect fit. I broke my ankle about a year ago, broke all three bones, dislocated it and tore all the ligaments. I am still recovering these shoes help so much because I have a very high arch. Much recommended.

I tried these sandals due to heal pain I've been having. The arch support is amazing (it felt strange for the first few days but now feels normal)! It has helped with my pain. Just got these shoes. I am giving them a try since I have terrible sciatica and wear flip-flops constantly. First, they were packaged very nice with a few pamphlets from Vionic explaining their technology, which is a nice bonus. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they fit perfect. I usually wear a 9.5/10 and ordered a 9.5. I like the way they look. As you can see in the pic, the footbed is wider across from Regular flip flops. The only negative I see for me is that the straps are on the looser side and I have skinnier legs/feet. But, it doesn’t bother me too much. The arch feels weird when you initially put them on but I heard it takes some getting used to. Overall, very happy with the purchase and if they help with my back pain, I plan to order more in various colors! ... show more
