After washing it is very soft and high quality; the duvet cover was super easy to put on, has ties in each corner to hold the comforter insert in place and as there is not a lot of extra fabric (it is sized correctly) it "hugs" the insert perfectly. I purchased this for a guest bedroom and it turned out to be a good purchase. I wanted an all-over small print style and this has pink roses which is very pretty. It laundered and dried very well and the fabric is soft. The vendor had to resend when the first shipment never arrived and I began to have second thoughts. Looks nice. Fit my twin down comforter perfectly, has tie downs for the corners like it should. A bit on stiff side, but I think that's because it is new. If it had been pre-washed for softness, I would give it 5 stars. I expect after a few times through the wash cycle it will soften up like all cotton does. No odor, no color bleeding. The color was perfect and the photos were realistic. Each corner has ties to hold the comforter in place. I’ve washed mine and had no issues with the color fading as well. The textures isn’t luxury by any means but it’s soft enough for me and I’m a pretty texturally sensitive person.
